Surah Al-Ahzaab (33/114)

سُورَةُ الأَحۡزَابِ

सूरह Al-Ahzaab

1بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًۭا

Translations

ऐ नबी खुदा ही से डरते रहो और काफिरों और मुनाफिक़ों की बात न मानो इसमें शक नहीं कि खुदा बड़ा वाक़िफकार हकीम है।

Yaa aiyuhan Nabiyyut taqil laaha wa laa tuti'il kaafireena wal munaafiqeen; innal laaha kaana 'aleeman Hakeemaa

O Prophet, fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

2وَٱتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًۭا

Translations

और तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की तरफ से तुम्हारे पास जो ''वही'' की जाती है (बस) उसी की पैरवी करो तुम लोग जो कुछ कर रहे हो खुदा उससे यक़ीनी अच्छा तरह आगाह है।

Wattabi' maa yoohaaa ilaika mir Rabbik; innal laaha kaana bimaa ta'maloona Khabeera

And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

3وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًۭا

Translations

और खुदा ही पर भरोसा रखो और खुदा ही कारसाजी के लिए काफी है

Wa tawakkal 'alal laah; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

4مَّا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍۢ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِى جَوْفِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَٰجَكُمُ ٱلَّٰٓـِٔى تُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَقُولُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِى ٱلسَّبِيلَ

Translations

ख़ुदा ने किसी आदमी के सीने में दो दिल नहीं पैदा किये कि (एक ही वक्त दो इरादे कर सके) और न उसने तुम्हारी बीवियों को जिन से तुम जेहार करते हो तुम्हारी माएँ बना दी और न उसने तुम्हारे लिये पालकों को तुम्हारे बेटे बना दिये। ये तो फ़क़त तुम्हारी मुँह बोली बात (और ज़ुबानी जमा खर्च) है और (चाहे किसी को बुरी लगे या अच्छी) खुदा तो सच्ची कहता है और सीधी राह दिखाता है।

Maa ja'alal laahu lirajulim min qalbaini fee jawfih; wa maa ja'ala azwaajakumul laaa'ee tuzaahiroona minhunna ummahaatikum; wa maa ja'ala ad'iyaaa'akum abnaaa'akum; zaalikum qawlukum bi afwaa hikum wallaahu yaqoolul haqqa wa Huwa yahdis sabeel

Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And he has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way.

5ٱدْعُوهُمْ لِءَابَآئِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَمَوَٰلِيكُمْ ۚ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌۭ فِيمَآ أَخْطَأْتُم بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًا

Translations

लिये पालकों का उनके (असली) बापों के नाम से पुकारा करो यही खुदा के नज़दीक बहुत ठीक है हाँ अगर तुम लोग उनके असली बापों को न जानते हो तो तुम्हारे दीनी भाई और दोस्त हैं (उन्हें भाई या दोस्त कहकर पुकारा करो) और हाँ इसमें भूल चूक जाओ तो अलबत्ता उसका तुम पर कोई इल्ज़ाम नहीं है मगर जब तुम दिल से जानबूझ कर करो (तो ज़रूर गुनाह है) और खुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है।

Ud'oohum li aabaaa'ihim huwa aqsatu 'indal laah; fa illam ta'lamooo aabaaa'ahum fa ikhwaanukum fid deeni wa mawaaleekum; wa laisa 'alaikum junaahun feemaaa akhtaatum bihee wa laakim maa ta'ammadat quloobukum; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa

Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers - then they are [still] your brothers in religion and those entrusted to you. And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

6ٱلنَّبِىُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ ۗ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍۢ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ إِلَّآ أَن تَفْعَلُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِكُم مَّعْرُوفًۭا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَسْطُورًۭا

Translations

नबी तो मोमिनीन से खुद उनकी जानों से भी बढ़कर हक़ रखते हैं (क्योंकि वह गोया उम्मत के मेहरबान बाप हैं) और उनकी बीवियाँ (गोया) उनकी माएँ हैं और मोमिनीन व मुहाजिरीन में से (जो लोग बाहम) क़राबतदार हैं। किताबें खुदा की रूह से (ग़ैरों की निस्बत) एक दूसरे के (तर्के के) ज्यादा हक़दार हैं मगर (जब) तुम अपने दोस्तों के साथ सुलूक करना चाहो (तो दूसरी बात है) ये तो किताबे (खुदा) में लिखा हुआ (मौजूद) है

An-Nabiyyu awlaa bil mu'mineena min anfusihim wa azwaajuhoo ummahatuhum wa ulul arbaami ba'duhum awlaa biba'din fee Kitaabil laahi minal mu'meneena wal Muhaajireena illaaa an taf'alooo ilaaa awliyaaa'ikum ma'roofaa; kaana zaalika fil kitaabi mastooraa

The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.

7وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ مِيثَٰقَهُمْ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٍۢ وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ ۖ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظًۭا

Translations

और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब हमने और पैग़म्बरों से और ख़ास तुमसे और नूह और इबराहीम और मूसा और मरियम के बेटे ईसा से एहदो पैमाने लिया और उन लोगों से हमने सख्त एहद लिया था

Wa iz akhaznaa minan Nabiyyeena meesaaqahum wa minka wa min Noohinw wa Ibraaheema wa Moosaa wa Eesab-ni-Maryama wa akhaznaa minhum meesaaqan ghaleezaa

And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.

8لِّيَسْـَٔلَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ عَن صِدْقِهِمْ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا

Translations

ताकि (क़यामत के दिन) सच्चों (पैग़म्बरों) से उनकी सच्चाई तबलीग़े रिसालत का हाल दरियाफ्त करें और काफिरों के वास्ते तो उसने दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार ही कर रखा है।

Liyas'alas saadiqeena 'an sidqihim; wa a'adda lilkaa fireena 'azaaban aleemaa

That He may question the truthful about their truth. And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.

9يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَآءَتْكُمْ جُنُودٌۭ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًۭا وَجُنُودًۭا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا

Translations

(ऐ ईमानदारों खुदा की) उन नेअमतों को याद करो जो उसने तुम पर नाज़िल की हैं (जंगे खन्दक में) जब तुम पर (काफिरों का) लशकर (उमड़ के) आ पड़ा तो (हमने तुम्हारी मदद की) उन पर ऑंधी भेजी और (इसके अलावा फरिश्तों का ऐसा लश्कर भेजा) जिसको तुमने देखा तक नहीं और तुम जो कुछ कर रहे थे खुदा उसे खूब देख रहा था

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanuz kuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum iz jaaa'atkm junoodun fa arsalnaa 'alaihim reehanw wa junoodal lam tarawhaa; wa kaanal laahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseera

O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you and We sent upon them a wind and armies [of angels] you did not see. And ever is Allah, of what you do, Seeing.

10إِذْ جَآءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ وَبَلَغَتِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٱلْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلظُّنُونَا۠

Translations

जिस वक्त वह लोग तुम पर तुम्हारे ऊपर से आ पड़े और तुम्हारे नीचे की तरफ से भी पिल गए और जिस वक्त (उनकी कसरत से) तुम्हारी ऑंखें ख़ैरा हो गयीं थी और (ख़ौफ से) कलेजे मुँह को आ गए थे और ख़ुदा पर तरह-तरह के (बुरे) ख्याल करने लगे थे।

Iz jaaa'ookum min fawqikum wa min asfala minkum wa iz zaaghatil absaaru wa balaghatil quloobul hanaajira wa tazunnoona billaahiz zunoonaa

[Remember] when they came at you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [in fear], and hearts reached the throats and you assumed about Allah [various] assumptions.

11هُنَالِكَ ٱبْتُلِىَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَزُلْزِلُوا۟ زِلْزَالًۭا شَدِيدًۭا

Translations

यहाँ पर मोमिनों का इम्तिहान लिया गया था और ख़ूब अच्छी तरह झिंझोड़े गए थे।

Hunaalikab tuliyal mu'minoona wa zulziloo zilzaalan shadeedaa

There the believers were tested and shaken with a severe shaking.

12وَإِذْ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ مَّا وَعَدَنَا ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ إِلَّا غُرُورًۭا

Translations

और जिस वक्त मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में (कुफ्र का) मरज़ था कहने लगे थे कि खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने जो हमसे वायदे किए थे वह बस बिल्कुल धोखे की टट्टी था।

Wa iz yaqoolul munaafiqoona wallazeena fee quloobihim maradum maa wa'adanal laahu wa Rasooluhooo illaa ghurooraa

And [remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease said, "Allah and His Messenger did not promise us except delusion,"

13وَإِذْ قَالَت طَّآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مُقَامَ لَكُمْ فَٱرْجِعُوا۟ ۚ وَيَسْتَـْٔذِنُ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُمُ ٱلنَّبِىَّ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بُيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٌۭ وَمَا هِىَ بِعَوْرَةٍ ۖ إِن يُرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَارًۭا

Translations

और अब उनमें का एक गिरोह कहने लगा था कि ऐ मदीने वालों अब (दुश्मन के मुक़ाबलें में ) तुम्हारे कहीं ठिकाना नहीं तो (बेहतर है कि अब भी) पलट चलो और उनमें से कुछ लोग रसूल से (घर लौट जाने की) इजाज़त माँगने लगे थे कि हमारे घर (मर्दों से) बिल्कुल ख़ाली (गैर महफूज़) पड़े हुए हैं - हालाँकि वह ख़ाली (ग़ैर महफूज़) न थे (बल्कि) वह लोग तो (इसी बहाने से) बस भागना चाहते हैं

Wa iz qaalat taaa'ifatum minhum yaaa ahla Yasriba laa muqaamaa lakum farji'oo; wa yastaazina fareequm minhumun Nabiyya yaqooloona inna buyootanaa 'awrah; wa maa hiya bi'awratin iny yureedoona illaa firaaraa

And when a faction of them said, "O people of Yathrib, there is no stability for you [here], so return [home]." And a party of them asked permission of the Prophet, saying, "Indeed, our houses are unprotected," while they were not exposed. They did not intend except to flee.

14وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا۟ ٱلْفِتْنَةَ لَءَاتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا۟ بِهَآ إِلَّا يَسِيرًۭا

Translations

और अगर ऐसा ही लश्कर उन लोगों पर मदीने के एतराफ से आ पड़े और उन से फसाद (ख़ाना जंगी) करने की दरख्वास्त की जाए तो ये लोग उसके लिए (फौरन) आ मौजूद हों

wa law dukhilat 'alaihim min aqtaarihaa summa su'ilul fitnata la aatawhaa wa maa talabbasoo bihaaa illaa yaseeraa

And if they had been entered upon from all its [surrounding] regions and fitnah had been demanded of them, they would have done it and not hesitated over it except briefly.

15وَلَقَدْ كَانُوا۟ عَٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ ۚ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ ٱللَّهِ مَسْـُٔولًۭا

Translations

और (उस वक्त) अपने घरों में भी बहुत कम तवक्क़ुफ़ करेंगे (मगर ये तो जिहाद है) हालाँकि उन लोगों ने पहले ही खुदा से एहद किया था कि हम दुश्मन के मुक़ाबले में (अपनी) पीठ न फेरेंगे और खुदा के एहद की पूछगछ तो (एक न एक दिन) होकर रहेगी

Wa laqad kaanoo 'aahadul laaha min qablu laa yuwal loonal adbaar; wa kaana 'ahdul laahi mas'oolaa

And they had already promised Allah before not to turn their backs and flee. And ever is the promise to Allah [that about which one will be] questioned.

16قُل لَّن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلْفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْمَوْتِ أَوِ ٱلْقَتْلِ وَإِذًۭا لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا

Translations

(ऐ रसूल उनसे) कह दो कि अगर तुम मौत का क़त्ल (के ख़ौफ) से भागे भी तो (यह) भागना तुम्हें हरगिज़ कुछ भी मुफ़ीद न होगा और अगर तुम भागकर बच भी गए तो बस यही न की दुनिया में चन्द रोज़ा और चैनकर लो

Qul lany y anfa'akumul firaaru in farartum minal mawti awil qatli wa izal laa tumatta'oona illaa qaleelaa

Say, [O Muhammad], "Never will fleeing benefit you if you should flee from death or killing; and then [if you did], you would not be given enjoyment [of life] except for a little."

17قُلْ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَعْصِمُكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ سُوٓءًا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ ۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيًّۭا وَلَا نَصِيرًۭا

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) तुम उनसे कह दो कि अगर खुदा तुम्हारे साथ बुराई का इरादा कर बैठे तो तुम्हें उसके (अज़ाब) से कौन ऐसा है जो बचाए या भलाई ही करना चाहे (तो कौन रोक सकता है) और ये लोग खुदा के सिवा न तो किसी को अपना सरपरस्त पाएँगे और न मद्दगार

Qul m an zal lazee ya'simukum minal laahi in araada bikum sooo'an aw araada bikum rahmah; wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He intends for you an ill or intends for you a mercy?" And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or any helper.

18۞ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلْقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا ۖ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

Translations

तुममें से जो लोग (दूसरों को जिहाद से) रोकते हैं खुदा उनको खूब जानता है और (उनको भी खूब जानता है) जो अपने भाई बन्दों से कहते हैं कि हमारे पास चले भी आओ और खुद भी (फक़त पीछा छुड़ाने को लड़ाई के खेत) में बस एक ज़रा सा आकर तुमसे अपनी जान चुराई

Qad ya'lamul laahul mu'awwiqeena minkum walqaaa'ileena li ikhwaanihim hahumma ilainaa, wa laa yaatoonal baasa illaa qaleelaa

Already Allah knows the hinderers among you and those [hypocrites] who say to their brothers, "Come to us," and do not go to battle, except for a few,

19أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ ٱلْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَٱلَّذِى يُغْشَىٰ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ ٱلْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ فَأَحْبَطَ ٱللَّهُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرًۭا

Translations

और चल दिए और जब (उन पर) कोई ख़ौफ (का मौक़ा) आ पड़ा तो देखते हो कि (आस से) तुम्हारी तरफ देखते हैं (और) उनकी ऑंखें इस तरह घूमती हैं जैसे किसी शख्स पर मौत की बेहोशी छा जाए फिर वह ख़ौफ (का मौक़ा) जाता रहा और ईमानदारों की फतेह हुई तो माले (ग़नीमत) पर गिरते पड़ते फौरन तुम पर अपनी तेज़ ज़बानों से ताना कसने लगे ये लोग (शुरू) से ईमान ही नहीं लाए (फक़त ज़बानी जमा ख़र्च थी) तो खुदा ने भी इनका किया कराया सब अकारत कर दिया और ये तो खुदा के वास्ते एक (निहायत) आसान बात थी

Ashihhatan 'alaikum faizaa jaaa'al khawfu ra aytahum yanzuroona ilaika tadooru a'yunuhum kallazee yughshaa 'alaihi minal mawti fa izaa zahabal khawfu salqookum bi alsinatin hidaadin ashibbatan 'alal khayr; ulaaa'ika lam yu'minoo fa ahbatal laahu a'maalahum; wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseeraa

Indisposed toward you. And when fear comes, you see them looking at you, their eyes revolving like one being overcome by death. But when fear departs, they lash you with sharp tongues, indisposed toward [any] good. Those have not believed, so Allah has rendered their deeds worthless, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.

20يَحْسَبُونَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا۟ ۖ وَإِن يَأْتِ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِى ٱلْأَعْرَابِ يَسْـَٔلُونَ عَنْ أَنۢبَآئِكُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ فِيكُم مَّا قَٰتَلُوٓا۟ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا

Translations

(मदीने का मुहासेरा करने वाले चल भी दिए मगर) ये लोग अभी यही समझ रहे हैं कि (काफ़िरों के) लश्कर अभी नहीं गए और अगर कहीं (कुफ्फार का) लश्कर फिर आ पहुँचे तो ये लोग चाहेंगे कि काश वह जंगलों में गँवारों में जा बसते और (वहीं से बैठे बैठे) तुम्हारे हालात दरयाफ्त करते रहते और अगर उनको तुम लोगों में रहना पड़ता तो फ़क़त (पीछा छुड़ाने को) ज़रा ज़हूर (कहीं) लड़ते

Yahsaboonal Ahzaaba lam yazhaboo wa iny yaatil Ahzaabu yawaddoo law annahum baadoona fil A'raabi yasaloona 'an ambaaa'ikum wa law kaanoo feekum maa qaatalooo illaa qaleela

They think the companies have not [yet] withdrawn. And if the companies should come [again], they would wish they were in the desert among the bedouins, inquiring [from afar] about your news. And if they should be among you, they would not fight except for a little.

21لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌۭ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْءَاخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًۭا

Translations

(मुसलमानों) तुम्हारे वास्ते तो खुद रसूल अल्लाह का (ख़न्दक़ में बैठना) एक अच्छा नमूना था (मगर हाँ यह) उस शख्स के वास्ते है जो खुदा और रोजे आखेरत की उम्मीद रखता हो और खुदा की याद बाकसरत करता हो

Laqad kaana lakum fee Rasoolil laahi uswatun hasanatul liman kaana yarjul laaha wal yawmal Aakhira wa azkaral laaha kaseeraa

There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.

22وَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَصَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّآ إِيمَٰنًۭا وَتَسْلِيمًۭا

Translations

और जब सच्चे ईमानदारों ने (कुफ्फार के) जमघटों को देखा तो (बेतकल्लुफ़) कहने लगे कि ये वही चीज़ तो है जिसका हम से खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने वायदा किया था (इसकी परवाह क्या है) और खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने बिल्कुल ठीक कहा था और (इसके देखने से) उनका ईमानदार और उनकी इताअत और भी ज़िन्दा हो गयी

Wa lammaa ra al mu'minoonal Ahzaaba qaaloo haaza maa wa'adanal laahu wa Rasooluh; wa maa zaadahum illaaa eemaananw wa tasleemaa

And when the believers saw the companies, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth." And it increased them only in faith and acceptance.

23مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌۭ صَدَقُوا۟ مَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُۥ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا۟ تَبْدِيلًۭا

Translations

ईमानदारों में से कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं कि खुदा से उन्होंने (जॉनिसारी का) जो एहद किया था उसे पूरा कर दिखाया ग़रज़ उनमें से बाज़ वह हैं जो (मर कर) अपना वक्त पूरा कर गए और उनमें से बाज़ (हुक्मे खुदा के) मुन्तज़िर बैठे हैं और उन लोगों ने (अपनी बात) ज़रा भी नहीं बदली

Minal mu'mineena rijaalun sadaqoo maa 'aahadul laaha 'alaihi faminhum man qadaa nahbahoo wa minhum mai yantaziru wa maa baddaloo tabdeelaa

Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -

24لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا

Translations

ये इम्तेहान इसलिए था ताकि खुद सच्चे (ईमानदारों) को उनकी सच्चाई की जज़ाए ख़ैर दे और अगर चाहे तो मुनाफेक़ीन की सज़ा करे या (अगर वह लागे तौबा करें तो) खुदा उनकी तौबा कुबूल फरमाए इसमें शक नहीं कि खुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

Li yajziyal aahus saadiqeena bisidqihim wa yu'azzibal munaafiqeena in shaaa'a aw yatooba 'alaihim; innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheemaa

That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

25وَرَدَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ خَيْرًۭا ۚ وَكَفَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلْقِتَالَ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًۭا

Translations

और खुदा ने (अपनी कुदरत से) क़ाफिरों को मदीने से फेर दिया (और वह लोग) अपनी झुंझलाहट में (फिर गए) और इन्हें कुछ फायदे भी न हुआ और खुदा ने (अपनी मेहरबानी से) मोमिनीन को लड़ने की नौबत न आने दी और खुदा तो (बड़ा) ज़बरदस्त (और) ग़ालिब हैं

Wa raddal laahul lazeena kafaroo bighaizihim lam yanaaloo khairaa; wa kafal laahul mu'mineenal qitaal; wa kaanal laahu Qawiyyan 'Azeezaa

And Allah repelled those who disbelieved, in their rage, not having obtained any good. And sufficient was Allah for the believers in battle, and ever is Allah Powerful and Exalted in Might.

26وَأَنزَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَٰهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعْبَ فَرِيقًۭا تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًۭا

Translations

और अहले किताब में से जिन लोगों (बनी कुरैज़ा) ने उन (कुफ्फार) की मदद की थी खुदा उनको उनके क़िलों से (बेदख़ल करके) नीचे उतार लाया और उनके दिलों में (तुम्हारा) ऐसा रोब बैठा दिया कि तुम उनके कुछ लोगों को क़त्ल करने लगे

Wa anzalal lazeena zaaha roohum min Ahlil Kitaabi min sa yaaseehim wa qazafa fee quloobihimm mur ru'ba freeqan taqtuloona wa taasiroona fareeqaaa

And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party.

27وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَٰرَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُمْ وَأَرْضًۭا لَّمْ تَطَـُٔوهَا ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرًۭا

Translations

और कुछ को क़ैदी (और गुलाम) बनाने और तुम ही लोगों को उनकी ज़मीन और उनके घर और उनके माल और उस ज़मीन (खैबर) का खुदा ने मालिक बना दिया जिसमें तुमने क़दम तक नहीं रखा था और खुदा तो हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर वतवाना है

Wa awrasakum ardahum wa diyaarahum wa amwaalahum wa ardal lam tata'oohaa; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeeraa

And He caused you to inherit their land and their homes and their properties and a land which you have not trodden. And ever is Allah, over all things, competent.

28يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًۭا جَمِيلًۭا

Translations

ऐ रसूल अपनी बीवियों से कह दो कि अगर तुम (फक़त) दुनियावी ज़िन्दगी और उसकी आराइश व ज़ीनत की ख्वाहॉ हो तो उधर आओ मैं तुम लोगों को कुछ साज़ो सामान दे दूँ और उनवाने शाइस्ता से रूख़सत कर दूँ

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu qul li azwaajika i kuntunna turidnal hayaatad dunyaa wa zeenatahaa fata'aalaina umatti'kunna wa usarrihkunna saraahan jameela

O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release.

29وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱلدَّارَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَٰتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًۭا

Translations

और अगर तुम लोग खुदा और उसके रसूल और आखेरत के घर की ख्वाहॉ हो तो (अच्छी तरह ख्याल रखो कि) तुम लोगों में से नेकोकार औरतों के लिए खुदा ने यक़ीनन् बड़ा (बड़ा) अज्र व (सवाब) मुहय्या कर रखा है

Wa in kuntunna turidnal laaha wa Rasoolahoo wad Daaral Aakhirata fa innal laaha a'adda lil muhsinaati min kunna ajjran 'azeemaa

But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward."

30يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِىِّ مَن يَأْتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَٰحِشَةٍۢ مُّبَيِّنَةٍۢ يُضَٰعَفْ لَهَا ٱلْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرًۭا

Translations

ऐ पैग़म्बर की बीबियों तुममें से जो कोई किसी सरीही ना शाइस्ता हरकत की का मुरतिब हुई तो (याद रहे कि) उसका अज़ाब भी दुगना बढ़ा दिया जाएगा और खुदा के वास्ते (निहायत) आसान है

Yaa nisaaa'an Nabiyyi mai yaati minkunna bifaa hishatim mubaiyinatiny yudaa'af lahal 'azaabu di'fain wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseera

O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.

31۞ وَمَن يَقْنُتْ مِنكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًۭا نُّؤْتِهَآ أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًۭا كَرِيمًۭا

Translations

और तुममें से जो (बीवी) खुदा और उसके रसूल की ताबेदारी अच्छे (अच्छे) काम करेगी उसको हम उसका सवाब भी दोहरा अता करेगें और हमने उसके लिए (जन्नत में) इज्ज़त की रोज़ी तैयार कर रखी है

Wa mai yaqnut minkunna lillaahi wa Rasoolihee wa ta'mal saalihan nu'tihaaa ajrahaa marratayni wa a'tadnaa lahaa rizqan kareema

And whoever of you devoutly obeys Allah and His Messenger and does righteousness - We will give her her reward twice; and We have prepared for her a noble provision.

32يَٰنِسَآءَ ٱلنَّبِىِّ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ إِنِ ٱتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ ٱلَّذِى فِى قَلْبِهِۦ مَرَضٌۭ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلًۭا مَّعْرُوفًۭا

Translations

ऐ नबी की बीवियों तुम और मामूली औरतों की सी तो हो वही (बस) अगर तुम को परहेज़गारी मंजूर रहे तो (अजनबी आदमी से) बात करने में नरम नरम (लगी लिपटी) बात न करो ताकि जिसके दिल में (शहवते ज़िना का) मर्ज़ है वह (कुछ और) इरादा (न) करे

Yaa nisaaa'an Nabiyyi lastunna ka ahadim minan nisaaa'i init taqaitunna falaa takhda'na bilqawli fa yatma'al lazee fee qalbihee maradunw wa qulna qawlam ma'roofaa

O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech.

33وَقَرْنَ فِى بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتِينَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِعْنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ ٱلرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًۭا

Translations

और (साफ-साफ) उनवाने शाइस्ता से बात किया करो और अपने घरों में निचली बैठी रहो और अगले ज़माने जाहिलियत की तरह अपना बनाव सिंगार न दिखाती फिरो और पाबन्दी से नमाज़ पढ़ा करो और (बराबर) ज़कात दिया करो और खुदा और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो ऐ (पैग़म्बर के) अहले बैत खुदा तो बस ये चाहता है कि तुमको (हर तरह की) बुराई से दूर रखे और जो पाक व पाकीज़ा दिखने का हक़ है वैसा पाक व पाकीज़ा रखे

Wa qarna fee bu yoo tikunna wa laa tabarrajna tabarrujal Jaahiliyyatil oolaa wa aqimnas Salaata w aaateenaz Zakaata wa ati'nal laaha wa Rasoolah; innamaa yureedul laahu liyuzhiba 'ankumur rijsa Ahlal Bayti wa yutahhirakum tatheeraa

And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.

34وَٱذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَىٰ فِى بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا

Translations

और (ऐ नबी की बीबियों) तुम्हारे घरों में जो खुदा की आयतें और (अक़ल व हिकमत की बातें) पढ़ी जाती हैं उनको याद रखो कि बेशक ख़ुदा बड़ा बारीक है वाक़िफकार है

Wazkurna maa yutlaa fee bu yootikunna min aayaatil laahi wal Hikmah; innal laaha kaana lateefan Khabeera

And remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allah and wisdom. Indeed, Allah is ever Subtle and Acquainted [with all things].

35إِنَّ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَٱلْمُسْلِمَٰتِ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَٱلْقَٰنِتِينَ وَٱلْقَٰنِتَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ وَٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ وَٱلْخَٰشِعَٰتِ وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ وَٱلْحَٰفِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَٱلْحَٰفِظَٰتِ وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًۭا وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةًۭ وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًۭا

Translations

(दिल लगा के सुनो) मुसलमान मर्द और मुसलमान औरतें और ईमानदार मर्द और ईमानदार औरतें और फरमाबरदार मर्द और फरमाबरदार औरतें और रास्तबाज़ मर्द और रास्तबाज़ औरतें और सब्र करने वाले मर्द और सब्र करने वाली औरतें और फिरौतनी करने वाले मर्द और फिरौतनी करने वाली औरतें और Âैरात करने वाले मर्द और Âैरात करने वाली औरतें और रोज़ादार मर्द और रोज़ादार औरतें और अपनी शर्मगाहों की हिफाज़त करने वाले मर्द और हिफाज़त करने वाली औरतें और खुदा की बकसरत याद करने वाले मर्द और याद करने वाली औरतें बेशक इन सब लोगों के वास्ते खुदा ने मग़फिरत और (बड़ा) सवाब मुहैय्या कर रखा है

Innal muslimeena wal muslimaati wal mu'mineena wal mu'minaati walqaaniteena walqaanitaati wassaadiqeena wassaadiqaati wassaabireena wassaabiraati walkhaashi'eena walkhaashi'aati walmutasaddiqeena walmutasaddiqaati wassaaa'imeena wassaaa'imaati walhaafizeena furoojahum walhaafizaati waz zaakireenal laaha kaseeranw waz zaakiraati a'addal laahu lahum maghfiratanw wa ajran 'azeemaa

Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.

36وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍۢ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلًۭا مُّبِينًۭا

Translations

और न किसी ईमानदार मर्द को ये मुनासिब है और न किसी ईमानदार औरत को जब खुदा और उसके रसूल किसी काम का हुक्म दें तो उनको अपने उस काम (के करने न करने) अख़तेयार हो और (याद रहे कि) जिस शख्स ने खुदा और उसके रसूल की नाफरमानी की वह यक़ीनन खुल्लम खुल्ला गुमराही में मुब्तिला हो चुका

Wa maa kaana limu'mininw wa laa mu'minatin izaa qadal laahu wa Rasooluhooo amran ai yakoona lahumul khiyaratu min amrihim; wa mai ya'sil laaha wa Rasoolahoo faqad dalla dalaalam mubeenaa

It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.

37وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِىٓ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ وَتُخْفِى فِى نَفْسِكَ مَا ٱللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ وَٱللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَىٰهُ ۖ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٌۭ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًۭا زَوَّجْنَٰكَهَا لِكَىْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌۭ فِىٓ أَزْوَٰجِ أَدْعِيَآئِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا۟ مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًۭا ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ مَفْعُولًۭا

Translations

और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब तुम उस शख्स (ज़ैद) से कह रहे थे जिस पर खुदा ने एहसान (अलग) किया था और तुमने उस पर (अलग) एहसान किया था कि अपनी बीबी (ज़ैनब) को अपनी ज़ौज़ियत में रहने दे और खुदा से डेर खुद तुम इस बात को अपने दिल में छिपाते थे जिसको (आख़िरकार) खुदा ज़ाहिर करने वाला था और तुम लोगों से डरते थे हालॉकि खुदा इसका ज्यादा हक़दार है कि तुम उस से डरो ग़रज़ जब ज़ैद अपनी हाजत पूरी कर चुका (तलाक़ दे दी) तो हमने (हुक्म देकर) उस औरत (ज़ैनब) का निकाह तुमसे कर दिया ताकि आम मोमिनीन को अपने ले पालक लड़कों की बीवियों (से निकाह करने) में जब वह अपना मतलब उन औरतों से पूरा कर चुकें (तलाक़ दे दें) किसी तरह की तंगी न रहे और खुदा का हुक्म तो किया कराया हुआ (क़तई) होता है

Wa iz taqoolu lillazeee an'amal laahu 'alaihi wa an'amta 'alaihi amsik 'alaika zawjaka wattaqil laaha wa tukhfee fee nafsika mal laahu mubdeehi wa takhshan naasa wallaahu ahaqqu an takhshaah; falammaa qadaa Zaidum minhaa wataran zawwajnaa kahaa likay laa yakoona 'alal mu'mineena harajun feee azwaaji ad'iyaaa'ihim izaa qadaw minhunna wataraa; wa kaana amrul laahi af'oolaa

And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished.

38مَّا كَانَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍۢ فِيمَا فَرَضَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ ۖ سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِى ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قَدَرًۭا مَّقْدُورًا

Translations

जो हुक्म खुदा ने पैग़म्बर पर फर्ज क़र दिया (उसके करने) में उस पर कोई मुज़ाएका नहीं जो लोग (उनसे) पहले गुज़र चुके हैं उनके बारे में भी खुदा का (यही) दस्तूर (जारी) रहा है (कि निकाह में तंगी न की) और खुदा का हुक्म तो (ठीक अन्दाज़े से) मुक़र्रर हुआ होता है

Maa kaana 'alan nabiyyyi min harajin feemaa faradal laahu lahoo sunnatal laahi fil lazeena khalaw min qabl; wa kaana amrul laahi qadaram maqdooraa

There is not to be upon the Prophet any discomfort concerning that which Allah has imposed upon him. [This is] the established way of Allah with those [prophets] who have passed on before. And ever is the command of Allah a destiny decreed.

39ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَٰلَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُۥ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًۭا

Translations

वह लोग जो खुदा के पैग़ामों को (लोगों तक जूँ का तूँ) पहुँचाते थे और उससे डरते थे और खुदा के सिवा किसी से नहीं डरते थे (फिर तुम क्यों डरते हो) और हिसाब लेने के वास्ते तो खुद काफ़ी है

Allazeena yuballighoona Risaalaatil laahi wa yakhshaw nahoo wa laa yakkhshawna ahadan illal laah; wa kafaa billaahi Haseebaa

[Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.

40مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَآ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا

Translations

(लोगों) मोहम्मद तुम्हारे मर्दों में से (हक़ीक़तन) किसी के बाप नहीं हैं (फिर जैद की बीवी क्यों हराम होने लगी) बल्कि अल्लाह के रसूल और नबियों की मोहर (यानी ख़त्म करने वाले) हैं और खुदा तो हर चीज़ से खूब वाक़िफ है

Maa kaana Muhammmadun abaaa ahadim mir rijaalikum wa laakir Rasoolal laahi wa Khaataman Nabiyyeen; wa kaanal laahu bikulli shai'in 'Aleema

Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing.

41يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ذِكْرًۭا كَثِيرًۭا

Translations

ऐ ईमानवालों बाकसरत खुदा की याद किया करो और

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanuz kurul laaha zikran kaseera

O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance

42وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةًۭ وَأَصِيلًا

Translations

सुबह व शाम उसकी तसबीह करते रहो

Wa sabbihoohu bukratanw wa aseela

And exalt Him morning and afternoon.

43هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُصَلِّى عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ ۚ وَكَانَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًۭا

Translations

वह वही तो है जो खुद तुमपर दूरूद (दर्दों रहमत) भेजता है और उसके फ़रिश्ते ताकि तुमको (कुफ़्र की) तारीक़ियों से निकालकर (ईमान की) रौशनी में ले जाए और खुदा ईमानवालों पर बड़ा मेहरबान है

Huwal lazee yusallee 'alaikum wa malaaa'ikatuhoo liyukhrijakum minazzulumaati ilan-noor wa kaana bilmu'mineena Raheemaa

It is He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.

44تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ سَلَٰمٌۭ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًۭا كَرِيمًۭا

Translations

जिस दिन उसकी बारगाह में हाज़िर होंगे (उस दिन) उनकी मुरादात (उसकी तरफ से हर क़िस्म की) सलामती होगी और खुदा ने तो उनके वास्ते बहुत अच्छा बदला (बेहश्त) तैयार रखा है

Tahiyyatuhum Yawma yalqawnahoo salaamunw wa a'adda lahum ajran kareemaa

Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.

45يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ شَٰهِدًۭا وَمُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا

Translations

ऐ नबी हमने तुमको (लोगों का) गवाह और (नेकों को बेहश्त की) खुशख़बरी देने वाला और बदों को अज़ाब से डराने वाला

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu innaaa arsalnaaka shaahidanw wa mubashshiranw wa nazeeraa

O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.

46وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا

Translations

और खुदा की तरफ उसी के हुक्म से बुलाने वाला और (ईमान व हिदायत का) रौशन चिराग़ बनाकर भेजा

Wa daa'iyan ilal laahi bi iznihee wa siraajam muneeraa

And one who invites to Allah, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp.

47وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَضْلًۭا كَبِيرًۭا

Translations

और तुम मोमिनीन को खुशख़बरी दे दो कि उनके लिए खुदा की तरफ से बहुत बड़ी (मेहरबानी और) बख्शिश है

Wa bashshiril mu'mineena bi annna lahum minal laahi fadlan kabeera

And give good tidings to the believers that they will have from Allah great bounty.

48وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَدَعْ أَذَىٰهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلًۭا

Translations

और (ऐ रसूल) तुम (कहीं) काफिरों और मुनाफिक़ों की इताअत न करना और उनकी ईज़ारसानी का ख्याल छोड़ दो और खुदा पर भरोसा रखो और कारसाज़ी में खुदा काफ़ी है

Wa laa tuti'il kaafireena walmunaafiqeena wa da'azaahum wa tawakkal 'alallaah; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites but do not harm them, and rely upon Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

49يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٍۢ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا ۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحًۭا جَمِيلًۭا

Translations

ऐ ईमानवालों जब तुम मोमिना औरतों से (बग़ैर मेहर मुक़र्रर किये) निकाह करो उसके बाद उन्हें अपने हाथ लगाने से पहले ही तलाक़ दे दो तो फिर तुमको उनपर कोई हक़ नहीं कि (उनसे) इद्दा पूरा कराओ उनको तो कुछ (कपड़े रूपये वग़ैरह) देकर उनवाने शाइस्ता से रूख़सत कर दो

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo izaa nakahtumul mu'minaati summa tallaqtu moohunna min qabli an tamas soohunna famaa lakum 'alaihinna min 'iddatin ta'taddoonahaa famatti'oohunna wa sarri hoohunna saraahan jameelaa

O You who have believed, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, then there is not for you any waiting period to count concerning them. So provide for them and give them a gracious release.

50يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَٰجَكَ ٱلَّٰتِىٓ ءَاتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّٰتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَٰلَٰتِكَ ٱلَّٰتِى هَاجَرْنَ مَعَكَ وَٱمْرَأَةًۭ مُّؤْمِنَةً إِن وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِىِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ ٱلنَّبِىُّ أَن يَسْتَنكِحَهَا خَالِصَةًۭ لَّكَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۗ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا فَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِىٓ أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ لِكَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٌۭ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا

Translations

ऐ नबी हमने तुम्हारे वास्ते तुम्हारी उन बीवियों को हलाल कर दिया है जिनको तुम मेहर दे चुके हो और तुम्हारी उन लौंडियों को (भी) जो खुदा ने तुमको (बग़ैर लड़े-भिड़े) माले ग़नीमत में अता की है और तुम्हारे चचा की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारी फूफियों की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारे मामू की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारी ख़ालाओं की बेटियाँ जो तुम्हारे साथ हिजरत करके आयी हैं (हलाल कर दी और हर ईमानवाली औरत (भी हलाल कर दी) अगर वह अपने को (बग़ैर मेहर) नबी को दे दें और नबी भी उससे निकाह करना चाहते हों मगर (ऐ रसूल) ये हुक्म सिर्फ तुम्हारे वास्ते ख़ास है और मोमिनीन के लिए नहीं और हमने जो कुछ (मेहर या क़ीमत) आम मोमिनीन पर उनकी बीवियों और उनकी लौंडियों के बारे में मुक़र्रर कर दिया है हम खूब जानते हैं और (तुम्हारी रिआयत इसलिए है) ताकि तुमको (बीवियों की तरफ से) कोई दिक्क़त न हो और खुदा तो बड़ा बख़शने वाला मेहरबान है

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu innaaa ahlalnaa laka azwaa jakal laatee aayaita ujoora hunna wa maa malakat yameenuka mimmaaa afaaa'al laahu 'alaika wa banaati 'ammika wa banaati 'ammaatika wa banaati khaalika wa banaati khaalaa tikal laatee haajarna ma'aka wamra atam mu'minatan inw wahabat nafsahaa lin Nabiyyi in araadan Nabiyyu ai yastan kihahaa khaalisatal laka min doonil mu'mineen; qad 'alim naa maa faradnaa 'alaihim feee azwaajihim wa maa malakat aimaanuhum likailaa yakoona 'alaika haraj; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema

O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

51۞ تُرْجِى مَن تَشَآءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُـْٔوِىٓ إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ ۖ وَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًۭا

Translations

इनमें से जिसको (जब) चाहो अलग कर दो और जिसको (जब तक) चाहो अपने पास रखो और जिन औरतों को तुमने अलग कर दिया था अगर फिर तुम उनके ख्वाहॉ हो तो भी तुम पर कोई मज़ाएक़ा नहीं है ये (अख़तेयार जो तुमको दिया गया है) ज़रूर इस क़ाबिल है कि तुम्हारी बीवियों की ऑंखें ठन्डी रहे और आर्जूदा ख़ातिर न हो और वो कुछ तुम उन्हें दे दो सबकी सब उस पर राज़ी रहें और जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों में है खुदा उसको ख़ुब जानता है और खुदा तो बड़ा वाक़िफकार बुर्दबार है

Turjee man tashaaa'u minhunna wa tu'weee ilaika man tashaaa'u wa manibta ghaita mimman 'azalta falaa junaaha 'alaik; zaalika adnaaa an taqarra a'yunuhunna wa laa yahzanna wa yardaina bimaa aataitahunna kulluhunn; wal laahu ya'lamu maa fee quloo bikum; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman haleemaa

You, [O Muhammad], may put aside whom you will of them or take to yourself whom you will. And any that you desire of those [wives] from whom you had [temporarily] separated - there is no blame upon you [in returning her]. That is more suitable that they should be content and not grieve and that they should be satisfied with what you have given them - all of them. And Allah knows what is in your hearts. And ever is Allah Knowing and Forbearing.

52لَّا يَحِلُّ لَكَ ٱلنِّسَآءُ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَلَآ أَن تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجٍۢ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ رَّقِيبًۭا

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) अब उन (नौ) के बाद (और) औरतें तुम्हारे वास्ते हलाल नहीं और न ये जायज़ है कि उनके बदले उनमें से किसी को छोड़कर और बीबियाँ कर लो अगर चे तुमको उनका हुस्न कैसा ही भला (क्यों न) मालूम हो मगर तुम्हारी लौंडियाँ (इस के बाद भी जायज़ हैं) और खुदा तो हर चीज़ का निगरॉ है

Laa yahillu lakan nisaaa'u mim ba'du wa laaa an tabaddala bihinna min azwaajinw wa law ajabaka husnuhunna illaa maa malakat yameenukk; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'ir Raqeeba

Not lawful to you, [O Muhammad], are [any additional] women after [this], nor [is it] for you to exchange them for [other] wives, even if their beauty were to please you, except what your right hand possesses. And ever is Allah, over all things, an Observer.

53يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَدْخُلُوا۟ بُيُوتَ ٱلنَّبِىِّ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَٰظِرِينَ إِنَىٰهُ وَلَٰكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَٱدْخُلُوا۟ فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ وَلَا مُسْتَـْٔنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِى ٱلنَّبِىَّ فَيَسْتَحْىِۦ مِنكُمْ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَٰعًۭا فَسْـَٔلُوهُنَّ مِن وَرَآءِ حِجَابٍۢ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُؤْذُوا۟ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَن تَنكِحُوٓا۟ أَزْوَٰجَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦٓ أَبَدًا ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَظِيمًا

Translations

ऐ ईमानदारों तुम लोग पैग़म्बर के घरों में न जाया करो मगर जब तुमको खाने के वास्ते (अन्दर आने की) इजाज़त दी जाए (लेकिन) उसके पकने का इन्तेज़ार (नबी के घर बैठकर) न करो मगर जब तुमको बुलाया जाए तो (ठीक वक्त पर) जाओ और फिर जब खा चुको तो (फौरन अपनी अपनी जगह) चले जाया करो और बातों में न लग जाया करो क्योंकि इससे पैग़म्बर को अज़ीयत होती है तो वह तुम्हारा लैहाज़ करते हैं और खुदा तो ठीक (ठीक कहने) से झेंपता नहीं और जब पैग़म्बर की बीवियों से कुछ माँगना हो तो पर्दे के बाहर से माँगा करो यही तुम्हारे दिलों और उनके दिलों के वास्ते बहुत सफाई की बात है और तुम्हारे वास्ते ये जायज़ नहीं कि रसूले खुदा को (किसी तरह) अज़ीयत दो और न ये जायज़ है कि तुम उसके बाद कभी उनकी बीवियों से निकाह करो बेशक ये ख़ुदा के नज़दीक बड़ा (गुनाह) है

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tadkhuloo bu yootan Nabiyyi ilaaa ai yu'zana lakum ilaa ta'aamin ghaira naazireena inaahu wa laakin izaa du'eetum fadkhuloo fa izaa ta'imtum fantashiroo wa laa mustaaniseena lihadees; inna zaalikum kaana yu'zin Nabiyya fa yastahyee minkum wallaahu laa yastahyee minal haqq; wa izaa sa altumoohunna mataa'an fas'aloohunna minw waraaa'i hijaab; zaalikum atharu liquloobikum wa quloobihinn; wa maa kaana lakum an tu'zoo Rasoolal laahi wa laaa an tankihooo azwaajahoo mim ba'diheee abadaa; inna zaalikum kaana 'indal laahi 'azeema

O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.

54إِن تُبْدُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا

Translations

चाहे किसी चीज़ को तुम ज़ाहिर करो या उसे छिपाओ खुदा तो (बहरहाल) हर चीज़ से यक़ीनी खूब आगाह है

In tubdoo shai'an aw tukhfoohu fa innal laaha kaana bikulli shai'in 'Aleemaa

Whether you reveal a thing or conceal it, indeed Allah is ever, of all things, Knowing.

55لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِىٓ ءَابَآئِهِنَّ وَلَآ أَبْنَآئِهِنَّ وَلَآ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ وَلَآ أَبْنَآءِ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ وَلَآ أَبْنَآءِ أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ وَلَا نِسَآئِهِنَّ وَلَا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُنَّ ۗ وَٱتَّقِينَ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدًا

Translations

औरतों पर न अपने बाप दादाओं (के सामने होने) में कुछ गुनाह है और न अपने बेटों के और न अपने भाईयों के और न अपने भतीजों के और अपने भांजों के और न अपनी (क़िस्म कि) औरतों के और न अपनी लौंडियों के सामने होने में कुछ गुनाह है (ऐ पैग़म्बर की बीबियों) तुम लोग खुदा से डरती रहो इसमें कोई शक ही नहीं की खुदा (तुम्हारे आमाल में) हर चीज़ से वाक़िफ़ है

Laa junaaha 'alaihinna feee aabaaa'ihinna wa laaa abnaaa'ihinna wa laaa ikhwaanihinnna wa laaa abnaaa'i ikhwaanihinna wa laaa abnaaa'i akhawaatihinna wa laa nisaaa'i hinna wa laa Maa malakat aimaanuhunn; wattaqeenal laah; innal laaha kaana 'alaa kulli shai'in Shaheedaa

There is no blame upon women concerning their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or those their right hands possess. And fear Allah. Indeed Allah is ever, over all things, Witness.

56إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

Translations

इसमें भी शक नहीं कि खुदा और उसके फरिश्ते पैग़म्बर (और उनकी आल) पर दुरूद भेजते हैं तो ऐ ईमानदारों तुम भी दुरूद भेजते रहो और बराबर सलाम करते रहो

Innal laaha wa malaaa'i katahoo yusalloona 'alan Nabiyy; yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo salloo 'alaihi wa sallimoo tasleemaa

Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.

57إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًۭا مُّهِينًۭا

Translations

बेशक जो लोग खुदा को और उसके रसूल को अज़ीयत देते हैं उन पर खुदा ने दुनिया और आखेरत (दोनों) में लानत की है और उनके लिए रूसवाई का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है

Innal lazeena yu'zoonal laaha wa Rasoolahoo la'anahumul laahu fid dunyaa wal Aakhirati wa a'adda lahum 'azaabam muheenaa

Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment.

58وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا ٱكْتَسَبُوا۟ فَقَدِ ٱحْتَمَلُوا۟ بُهْتَٰنًۭا وَإِثْمًۭا مُّبِينًۭا

Translations

और जो लोग ईमानदार मर्द और ईमानदार औरतों को बगैर कुछ किए द्दरे (तोहमत देकर) अज़ीयत देते हैं तो वह एक बोहतान और सरीह गुनाह का बोझ (अपनी गर्दन पर) उठाते हैं

Wallazeena yu'zoonal mu'mineena almu'manaati bighairi mak tasaboo faqadih tamaloo buhtaananw wa ismam mubeenaa

And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned have certainly born upon themselves a slander and manifest sin.

59يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا

Translations

ऐ नबी अपनी बीवियों और अपनी लड़कियों और मोमिनीन की औरतों से कह दो कि (बाहर निकलते वक्त) अपने (चेहरों और गर्दनों) पर अपनी चादरों का घूंघट लटका लिया करें ये उनकी (शराफ़त की) पहचान के वास्ते बहुत मुनासिब है तो उन्हें कोई छेड़ेगा नहीं और खुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu qul li azwaajika wa banaatika wa nisaaa'il mu'mineena yudneena 'alaihinna min jalaabee bihinn; zaalika adnaaa ai yu'rafna falaa yu'zain; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa

O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

60۞ لَّئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ وَٱلْمُرْجِفُونَ فِى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَآ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا

Translations

ऐ रसूल मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में (कुफ़्र का) मर्ज़ है और जो लोग मदीने में बुरी ख़बरें उड़ाया करते हैं- अगर ये लोग (अपनी शरारतों से) बाज़ न आएंगें तो हम तुम ही को (एक न एक दिन) उन पर मुसल्लत कर देगें फिर वह तुम्हारे पड़ोस में चन्द रोज़ों के सिवा ठहरने (ही) न पाएँगे

La'il lam yantahil munaafiqoona wallazeena fee quloobihim maradunw walmur jifoona fil madeenati lanughri yannaka bihim summa laa yujaawiroonaka feehaaa illaa qaleela

If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madinah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little.

61مَّلْعُونِينَ ۖ أَيْنَمَا ثُقِفُوٓا۟ أُخِذُوا۟ وَقُتِّلُوا۟ تَقْتِيلًۭا

Translations

लानत के मारे जहाँ कहीं हत्थे चढ़े पकड़े गए और फिर बुरी तरह मार डाले गए

Mal'ooneena ainamaa suqifoo ukhizoo wa quttiloo taqteelaa

Accursed wherever they are found, [being] seized and massacred completely.

62سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِى ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًۭا

Translations

जो लोग पहले गुज़र गए उनके बारे में (भी) खुदा की (यही) आदत (जारी) रही और तुम खुदा की आदत में हरगिज़ तग़य्युर तबद्दुल न पाओगे

Sunnatal laahi fil lazeena khalaw min qablu wa lan tajida lisunnatil laahi tabdeelaa

[This is] the established way of Allah with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allah any change.

63يَسْـَٔلُكَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) लोग तुमसे क़यामत के बारे में पूछा करते हैं (तुम उनसे) कह दो कि उसका इल्म तो बस खुदा को है और तुम क्या जानो शायद क़यामत क़रीब ही हो

Yas'alukan naasu 'anis Saa'ati qul innamaa 'ilmuhaa 'indal laah; wa maa yudreeka la'allas Saa'ata takoonu qareebaa

People ask you concerning the Hour. Say," Knowledge of it is only with Allah. And what may make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near."

64إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيرًا

Translations

ख़ुदा ने क़ाफिरों पर यक़ीनन लानत की है और उनके लिए जहन्नुम को तैयार कर रखा है

Innal laaha la'anal kaafireena wa a'adda lahum sa'eeraa

Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze.

65خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭا ۖ لَّا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّۭا وَلَا نَصِيرًۭا

Translations

जिसमें वह हमेशा अबदल आबाद रहेंगे न किसी को अपना सरपरस्त पाएँगे न मद्दगार

Khaalideena feehaaa abadaa, laa yajidoona waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper.

66يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِى ٱلنَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَٰلَيْتَنَآ أَطَعْنَا ٱللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا ٱلرَّسُولَا۠

Translations

जिस दिन उनके मुँह जहन्नुम की तरफ फेर दिए जाएँगें तो उस दिन अफ़सोसनाक लहजे में कहेंगे ऐ काश हमने खुदा की इताअत की होती और रसूल का कहना माना होता

Yawma tuqallabu wujoohuhum fin Naari yaqooloona yaa laitanaaa ata'nal laaha wa ata'nar Rasoolaa

The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger."

67وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠

Translations

और कहेंगे कि परवरदिगारहमने अपने सरदारों अपने बड़ों का कहना माना तो उन्हों ही ने हमें गुमराह कर दिया

Wa qaaloo Rabbanaaa innaaa ata'naa saadatanaa wa kubaraaa'anaa fa adalloonas sabeelaa

And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.

68رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًۭا كَبِيرًۭا

Translations

परवरदिगारा (हम पर तो अज़ाब सही है मगर) उन लोगों पर दोहरा अज़ाब नाज़िल कर और उन पर बड़ी से बड़ी लानत कर

Rabbanaaa aatihim di'fai ni minal 'azaabi wal'anhum la nan kabeera

Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse."

69يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاذَوْا۟ مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ ٱللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا۟ ۚ وَكَانَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَجِيهًۭا

Translations

ऐ ईमानवालों (ख़बरदार कहीं) तुम लोग भी उनके से न हो जाना जिन्होंने मूसा को तकलीफ दी तो खुदा ने उनकी तोहमतों से मूसा को बरी कर दिया और मूसा खुदा के नज़दीक एक रवादार (इज्ज़त करने वाले) (पैग़म्बर) थे

yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo las takoonoo kalla zeena aazaw Moosaa fa barra ahul laahu mimmmaa qaaloo; wa kaana 'indal laahi wajeehaa

O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then Allah cleared him of what they said. And he, in the sight of Allah, was distinguished.

70يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَقُولُوا۟ قَوْلًۭا سَدِيدًۭا

Translations

ऐ ईमानवालों खुदा से डरते रहो और (जब कहो तो) दुरूस्त बात कहा करो

Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanut taqul laaha wa qooloo qawlan sadeedaa

O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice.

71يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا

Translations

तो खुदा तुम्हारी कारगुज़ारियों को दुरूस्त कर देगा और तुम्हारे गुनाह बख्श देगा और जिस शख्स ने खुदा और उसके रसूल की इताअत की वह तो अपनी मुराद को खूब अच्छी तरह पहुँच गया

Yuslih lakum a'maalakum wa yaghfir lakum zunoobakum; wa mai yuti'il laaha wa Rasoolahoo faqad faaza fawzan 'azeemaa

He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

72إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا ٱلْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ ظَلُومًۭا جَهُولًۭا

Translations

बेशक हमने (रोज़े अज़ल) अपनी अमानत (इताअत इबादत) को सारे आसमान और ज़मीन पहाड़ों के सामने पेश किया तो उन्होंने उसके (बार) उठाने से इन्कार किया और उससे डर गए और आदमी ने उसे (बे ताम्मुल) उठा लिया बेशक इन्सान (अपने हक़ में) बड़ा ज़ालिम (और) नादान है

Innaa 'aradnal amaanata 'alas samaawaati walardi wal jibaali fa abaina ai yahmil nahaa wa ashfaqna minhaa wa hamalahal insaanu innahoo kaana zalooman jahoolaa

Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.

73لِّيُعَذِّبَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَٱلْمُشْرِكَٰتِ وَيَتُوبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۢا

Translations

इसका नतीजा यह हुआ कि खुदा मुनाफिक़ मर्दों और मुनाफिक़ औरतों और मुशरिक मर्दों और मुशरिक औरतों को (उनके किए की) सज़ा देगा और ईमानदार मर्दों और ईमानदार औरतों की (तक़सीर अमानत की) तौबा क़ुबूल फरमाएगा और खुदा तो बड़ा बख़शने वाला मेहरबान है

Liyu 'azzibal laahul munaafiqeena wal munaafiqaati walmushrikeena wal mushrikaati wa yatoobal laahu 'alal mu'mineena walmu'minaat; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema

[It was] so that Allah may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him and that Allah may accept repentance from the believing men and believing women. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
