1بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ

Translations

जब क़यामत बरपा होगी और उसके वाक़िया होने में ज़रा झूट नहीं

Izaa waqa'atil waaqi'ah

When the Occurrence occurs,

2لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ

Translations

(उस वक्त लोगों में फ़र्क ज़ाहिर होगा)

Laisa liwaq'atihaa kaazibah

There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

3خَافِضَةٌۭ رَّافِعَةٌ

Translations

कि किसी को पस्त करेगी किसी को बुलन्द

Khafidatur raafi'ah

It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].

4إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّۭا

Translations

जब ज़मीन बड़े ज़ोरों में हिलने लगेगी

Izaa rujjatil ardu rajjaa

When the earth is shaken with convulsion

5وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّۭا

Translations

और पहाड़ (टकरा कर) बिल्कुल चूर चूर हो जाएँगे

Wa bussatil jibaalu bassaa

And the mountains are broken down, crumbling

6فَكَانَتْ هَبَآءًۭ مُّنۢبَثًّۭا

Translations

फिर ज़र्रे बन कर उड़ने लगेंगे

Fakaanat habaaa'am mumbassaa

And become dust dispersing.

7وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ثَلَٰثَةًۭ

Translations

और तुम लोग तीन किस्म हो जाओगे

Wa kuntum azwaajan salaasah

And you become [of] three kinds:

8فَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ

Translations

तो दाहिने हाथ (में आमाल नामा लेने) वाले (वाह) दाहिने हाथ वाले क्या (चैन में) हैं

Fa as haabul maimanati maaa as haabul maimanah

Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

9وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ

Translations

और बाएं हाथ (में आमाल नामा लेने) वाले (अफ़सोस) बाएं हाथ वाले क्या (मुसीबत में) हैं

Wa as haabul mash'amati maaa as haabul mash'amah

And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?

10وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ

Translations

और जो आगे बढ़ जाने वाले हैं (वाह क्या कहना) वह आगे ही बढ़ने वाले थे

Wassaabiqoonas saabiqoon

And the forerunners, the forerunners -

11أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ

Translations

यही लोग (ख़ुदा के) मुक़र्रिब हैं

Ulaaa'ikal muqarraboon

Those are the ones brought near [to Allah]

12فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Translations

आराम व आसाइश के बाग़ों में बहुत से

Fee Jannaatin Na'eem

In the Gardens of Pleasure,

13ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Translations

तो अगले लोगों में से होंगे

Sullatum minal awwaleen

A [large] company of the former peoples

14وَقَلِيلٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

Translations

और कुछ थोडे से पिछले लोगों में से मोती

Wa qaleelum minal aa khireen

And a few of the later peoples,

15عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مَّوْضُونَةٍۢ

Translations

और याक़ूत से जड़े हुए सोने के तारों से बने हुए

'Alaa sururim mawdoonah

On thrones woven [with ornament],

16مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Translations

तख्ते पर एक दूसरे के सामने तकिए लगाए (बैठे) होंगे

Muttaki'eena 'alaihaa mutaqabileen

Reclining on them, facing each other.

17يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌۭ مُّخَلَّدُونَ

Translations

नौजवान लड़के जो (बेहिश्त में) हमेशा (लड़के ही बने) रहेंगे

Yatoofu 'alaihim wildaa num mukkhalladoon

There will circulate among them young boys made eternal

18بِأَكْوَابٍۢ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۢ

Translations

(शरबत वग़ैरह के) सागर और चमकदार टोंटीदार कंटर और शफ्फ़ाफ़ शराब के जाम लिए हुए उनके पास चक्कर लगाते होंगे

Bi akwaabinw wa abaareeq, wa kaasim mim ma'een

With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring -

19لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ

Translations

जिसके (पीने) से न तो उनको (ख़ुमार से) दर्दसर होगा और न वह बदहवास मदहोश होंगे

Laa yusadda'oona 'anhaa wa laa yunzifoon

No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated -

20وَفَٰكِهَةٍۢ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ

Translations

और जिस क़िस्म के मेवे पसन्द करें

Wa faakihatim mimmaa yatakhaiyaroon

And fruit of what they select

21وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍۢ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

Translations

और जिस क़िस्म के परिन्दे का गोश्त उनका जी चाहे (सब मौजूद है)

Wa lahmi tairim mimmaa yashtahoon

And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.

22وَحُورٌ عِينٌۭ

Translations

और बड़ी बड़ी ऑंखों वाली हूरें

Wa hoorun'een

And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,

23كَأَمْثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ

Translations

जैसे एहतेयात से रखे हुए मोती

Ka amsaalil lu'lu'il maknoon

The likenesses of pearls well-protected,

24جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Translations

ये बदला है उनके (नेक) आमाल का

Jazaaa'am bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon

As reward for what they used to do.

25لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًۭا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا

Translations

वहाँ न तो बेहूदा बात सुनेंगे और न गुनाह की बात

Laa yasma'oona feehaa laghwanw wa laa taaseemaa

They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin -

26إِلَّا قِيلًۭا سَلَٰمًۭا سَلَٰمًۭا

Translations

(फहश) बस उनका कलाम सलाम ही सलाम होगा

Illaa qeelan salaaman salaamaa

Only a saying: "Peace, peace."

27وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ

Translations

और दाहिने हाथ वाले (वाह) दाहिने हाथ वालों का क्या कहना है

Wa as haabul yameeni maaa as haabul Yameen

The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

28فِى سِدْرٍۢ مَّخْضُودٍۢ

Translations

बे काँटे की बेरो और लदे गुथे हुए

Fee sidrim makhdood

[They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed

29وَطَلْحٍۢ مَّنضُودٍۢ

Translations

केलों और लम्बी लम्बी छाँव

Wa talhim mandood

And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]

30وَظِلٍّۢ مَّمْدُودٍۢ

Translations

और झरनो के पानी

Wa zillim mamdood

And shade extended

31وَمَآءٍۢ مَّسْكُوبٍۢ

Translations

और अनारों

Wa maaa'im maskoob

And water poured out

32وَفَٰكِهَةٍۢ كَثِيرَةٍۢ

Translations

मेवो में होंगें

Wa faakihatin kaseerah

And fruit, abundant [and varied],

33لَّا مَقْطُوعَةٍۢ وَلَا مَمْنُوعَةٍۢ

Translations

जो न कभी खत्म होंगे और न उनकी कोई रोक टोक

Laa maqtoo'atinw wa laa mamnoo'ah

Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,

34وَفُرُشٍۢ مَّرْفُوعَةٍ

Translations

और ऊँचे ऊँचे (नरम गद्दो के) फ़र्शों में (मज़े करते) होंगे

Wa furushim marfoo'ah

And [upon] beds raised high.

35إِنَّآ أَنشَأْنَٰهُنَّ إِنشَآءًۭ

Translations

(उनको) वह हूरें मिलेंगी जिसको हमने नित नया पैदा किया है

Innaaa anshaanaahunna inshaaa'aa

Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation

36فَجَعَلْنَٰهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا

Translations

तो हमने उन्हें कुँवारियाँ प्यारी प्यारी हमजोलियाँ बनाया

Faja'alnaahunna abkaaraa

And made them virgins,

37عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًۭا

Translations

(ये सब सामान)

'Uruban atraabaa

Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,

38لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

Translations

दाहिने हाथ (में नामए आमाल लेने) वालों के वास्ते है

Li as haabil yameen

For the companions of the right [who are]

39ثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Translations

(इनमें) बहुत से तो अगले लोगों में से

Sullatum minal awwa leen

A company of the former peoples

40وَثُلَّةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

Translations

और बहुत से पिछले लोगों में से

Wa sullatum minal aakhireen

And a company of the later peoples.

41وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ

Translations

और बाएं हाथ (में नामए आमाल लेने) वाले (अफसोस) बाएं हाथ वाले क्या (मुसीबत में) हैं

Wa as haabush shimaali maaa as haabush shimaal

And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?

42فِى سَمُومٍۢ وَحَمِيمٍۢ

Translations

(दोज़ख़ की) लौ और खौलते हुए पानी

Fee samoominw wa hameem

[They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water

43وَظِلٍّۢ مِّن يَحْمُومٍۢ

Translations

और काले सियाह धुएँ के साये में होंगे

Wa zillim miny yahmoom

And a shade of black smoke,

44لَّا بَارِدٍۢ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ

Translations

जो न ठन्डा और न ख़ुश आइन्द

Laa baaridinw wa laa kareem

Neither cool nor beneficial.

45إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ

Translations

ये लोग इससे पहले (दुनिया में) ख़ूब ऐश उड़ा चुके थे

Innaahum kaanoo qabla zaalika mutrafeen

Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,

46وَكَانُوا۟ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى ٱلْحِنثِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Translations

और बड़े गुनाह (शिर्क) पर अड़े रहते थे

Wa kaanoo yusirroona 'alal hinsil 'azeem

And they used to persist in the great violation,

47وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

Translations

और कहा करते थे कि भला जब हम मर जाएँगे और (सड़ गल कर) मिटटी और हडिडयाँ (ही हडिडयाँ) रह जाएँगे

Wa kaanoo yaqooloona a'izaa mitnaa wa kunnaa turaabanw wa izaaman'ainnaa lamab'oosoon

And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?

48أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ

Translations

तो क्या हमें या हमारे अगले बाप दादाओं को फिर उठना है

Awa aabaaa'unal awwaloon

And our forefathers [as well]?"

49قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि अगले और पिछले

Qul innal awwaleena wal aakhireen

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples

50لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ

Translations

सब के सब रोजे मुअय्यन की मियाद पर ज़रूर इकट्ठे किए जाएँगे

Lamajmoo'oona ilaa meeqaati yawmim ma'loon

Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."

51ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ

Translations

फिर तुमको बेशक ऐ गुमराहों झुठलाने वालों

summa innakum ayyuhad daaalloonal mukazziboon

Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,

52لَءَاكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍۢ مِّن زَقُّومٍۢ

Translations

यक़ीनन (जहन्नुम में) थोहड़ के दरख्तों में से खाना होगा

La aakiloona min shaja rim min zaqqoom

Will be eating from trees of zaqqum

53فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ

Translations

तो तुम लोगों को उसी से (अपना) पेट भरना होगा

Famaali'oona minhal butoon

And filling with it your bellies

54فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ

Translations

फिर उसके ऊपर खौलता हुआ पानी पीना होगा

Fashaariboona 'alaihi minal hameem

And drinking on top of it from scalding water

55فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ

Translations

और पियोगे भी तो प्यासे ऊँट का सा (डग डगा के) पीना

Fashaariboona shurbal heem

And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels.

56هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ

Translations

क़यामत के दिन यही उनकी मेहमानी होगी

Haazaa nuzuluhum yawmad deen

That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.

57نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ

Translations

तुम लोगों को (पहली बार भी) हम ही ने पैदा किया है

Nahnu khalaqnaakum falaw laa tusaddiqoon

We have created you, so why do you not believe?

58أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تُمْنُونَ

Translations

फिर तुम लोग (दोबार की) क्यों नहीं तस्दीक़ करते

Afara'aytum maa tumnoon

Have you seen that which you emit?

59ءَأَنتُمْ تَخْلُقُونَهُۥٓ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْخَٰلِقُونَ

Translations

तो जिस नुत्फे क़ो तुम (औरतों के रहम में डालते हो) क्या तुमने देख भाल लिया है क्या तुम उससे आदमी बनाते हो या हम बनाते हैं

'A-antum takhluqoo nahooo am nahnul khaaliqoon

Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?

60نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ

Translations

हमने तुम लोगों में मौत को मुक़र्रर कर दिया है और हम उससे आजिज़ नहीं हैं

Nahnu qaddarnaa baina kumul mawta wa maa nahnu bimasbooqeen

We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone

61عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ أَمْثَٰلَكُمْ وَنُنشِئَكُمْ فِى مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

Translations

कि तुम्हारे ऐसे और लोग बदल डालें और तुम लोगों को इस (सूरत) में पैदा करें जिसे तुम मुत्तलक़ नहीं जानते

'Alaaa an nubaddila amsaalakum wa nunshi'akum fee maa laa ta'lamoon

In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know.

62وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ فَلَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Translations

और तुमने पैहली पैदाइश तो समझ ही ली है (कि हमने की) फिर तुम ग़ौर क्यों नहीं करते

Wa laqad 'alimtumun nash atal oolaa falaw laa tazakkaroon

And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?

63أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَحْرُثُونَ

Translations

भला देखो तो कि जो कुछ तुम लोग बोते हो क्या

Afara'aytum maa tahrusoon

And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?

64ءَأَنتُمْ تَزْرَعُونَهُۥٓ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلزَّٰرِعُونَ

Translations

तुम लोग उसे उगाते हो या हम उगाते हैं अगर हम चाहते

'A-antum tazra'oonahooo am nahnuz zaari'ooon

Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?

65لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَٰهُ حُطَٰمًۭا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ

Translations

तो उसे चूर चूर कर देते तो तुम बातें ही बनाते रह जाते

Law nashaaa'u laja'al naahu hutaaman fazaltum tafakkahoon

If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder,

66إِنَّا لَمُغْرَمُونَ

Translations

कि (हाए) हम तो (मुफ्त) तावान में फॅसे (नहीं)

Innaa lamughramoon

[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt;

67بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ

Translations

हम तो बदनसीब हैं

Bal nahnu mahroomoon

Rather, we have been deprived."

68أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱلْمَآءَ ٱلَّذِى تَشْرَبُونَ

Translations

तो क्या तुमने पानी पर भी नज़र डाली जो (दिन रात) पीते हो

Afara'aytumul maaa'allazee tashraboon

And have you seen the water that you drink?

69ءَأَنتُمْ أَنزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُزْنِ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُنزِلُونَ

Translations

क्या उसको बादल से तुमने बरसाया है या हम बरसाते हैं

'A-antum anzaltumoohu minal muzni am nahnul munziloon

Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down?

70لَوْ نَشَآءُ جَعَلْنَٰهُ أُجَاجًۭا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُونَ

Translations

अगर हम चाहें तो उसे खारी बना दें तो तुम लोग यक्र क्यों नहीं करते

Law nashaaa'u ja'alnaahu ujaajan falaw laa tashkuroon

If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?

71أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِى تُورُونَ

Translations

तो क्या तुमने आग पर भी ग़ौर किया जिसे तुम लोग लकड़ी से निकालते हो

Afara'aytumun naaral latee tooroon

And have you seen the fire that you ignite?

72ءَأَنتُمْ أَنشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَآ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُنشِـُٔونَ

Translations

क्या उसके दरख्त को तुमने पैदा किया या हम पैदा करते हैं

'A-antum anshaatum shajaratahaaa am nahnul munshi'oon

Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?

73نَحْنُ جَعَلْنَٰهَا تَذْكِرَةًۭ وَمَتَٰعًۭا لِّلْمُقْوِينَ

Translations

हमने आग को (जहन्नुम की) याद देहानी और मुसाफिरों के नफे के (वास्ते पैदा किया)

Nahnu ja'alnaahaa tazkira tanw wa mataa'al lilmuqween

We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers,

74فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Translations

तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम अपने बुज़ुर्ग परवरदिगार की तस्बीह करो

Fasabbih bismi Rabbikal 'azeem

So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

75۞ فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ

Translations

तो मैं तारों के मनाज़िल की क़सम खाता हूँ

Falaa uqsimu bimaawaa qi'innujoom

Then I swear by the setting of the stars,

76وَإِنَّهُۥ لَقَسَمٌۭ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ

Translations

और अगर तुम समझो तो ये बड़ी क़सम है

Wa innahoo laqasamul lawta'lamoona'azeem

And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great.

77إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرْءَانٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

Translations

कि बेशक ये बड़े रूतबे का क़ुरान है

Innahoo la quraanun kareem

Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an

78فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مَّكْنُونٍۢ

Translations

जो किताब (लौहे महफूज़) में (लिखा हुआ) है

Fee kitaabim maknoon

In a Register well-protected;

79لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ

Translations

इसको बस वही लोग छूते हैं जो पाक हैं

Laa yamassuhooo illal mutahharoon

None touch it except the purified.

80تَنزِيلٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Translations

सारे जहाँ के परवरदिगार की तरफ से (मोहम्मद पर) नाज़िल हुआ है

Tanzeelum mir Rabbil'aalameen

[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

81أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدْهِنُونَ

Translations

तो क्या तुम लोग इस कलाम से इन्कार रखते हो

Afabihaazal hadeesi antum mudhinoon

Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent

82وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Translations

और तुमने अपनी रोज़ी ये करार दे ली है कि (उसको) झुठलाते हो

Wa taj'aloona rizqakum annakum tukazziboon

And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]?

83فَلَوْلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلْحُلْقُومَ

Translations

तो क्या जब जान गले तक पहुँचती है

Falaw laaa izaa balaghatil hulqoom

Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat

84وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍۢ تَنظُرُونَ

Translations

और तुम उस वक्त (क़ी हालत) पड़े देखा करते हो

Wa antum heena'izin tanzuroon

And you are at that time looking on -

85وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ

Translations

और हम इस (मरने वाले) से तुमसे भी ज्यादा नज़दीक होते हैं लेकिन तुमको दिखाई नहीं देता

Wa nahnu aqrabu ilaihi minkum wa laakil laa tubsiroon

And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see -

86فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ

Translations

तो अगर तुम किसी के दबाव में नहीं हो

Falaw laaa in kuntum ghira madeeneen

Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,

87تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

Translations

तो अगर (अपने दावे में) तुम सच्चे हो तो रूह को फेर क्यों नहीं देते

Tarji'oonahaaa in kuntum saadiqeen

Bring it back, if you should be truthful?

88فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

Translations

पस अगर वह (मरने वाला ख़ुदा के) मुक़र्रेबीन से है

Fa ammaaa in kaana minal muqarrabeen

And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah,

89فَرَوْحٌۭ وَرَيْحَانٌۭ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍۢ

Translations

तो (उस के लिए) आराम व आसाइश है और ख़ुशबूदार फूल और नेअमत के बाग़

Farawhunw wa raihaa nunw wa jannatu na'eem

Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.

90وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

Translations

और अगर वह दाहिने हाथ वालों में से है

Wa ammaaa in kaana min as haabil yameen

And if he was of the companions of the right,

91فَسَلَٰمٌۭ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

Translations

तो (उससे कहा जाएगा कि) तुम पर दाहिने हाथ वालों की तरफ़ से सलाम हो

Fasalaamul laka min as haabil yameen

Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."

92وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

Translations

और अगर झुठलाने वाले गुमराहों में से है

Wa ammaaa in kaana minal mukazzibeenad daaalleen

But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,

93فَنُزُلٌۭ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ

Translations

तो (उसकी) मेहमानी खौलता हुआ पानी है

Fanuzulum min hameem

Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water

94وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ

Translations

और जहन्नुम में दाखिल कर देना

Wa tasliyatu jaheem

And burning in Hellfire

95إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ

Translations

बेशक ये (ख़बर) यक़ीनन सही है

Inna haaza lahuwa haqqul yaqeen

Indeed, this is the true certainty,

96فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Translations

तो (ऐ रसूल) तुम अपने बुज़ुर्ग परवरदिगार की तस्बीह करो

Fasabbih bismi rabbikal 'azeem

So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
