1بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًۭا

Translations

हवाओं की क़सम जो (पहले) धीमी चलती हैं

Wal mursalaati'urfaa

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

2فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًۭا

Translations

फिर ज़ोर पकड़ के ऑंधी हो जाती हैं

Fal'aasifaati 'asfaa

And the winds that blow violently

3وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا

Translations

और (बादलों को) उभार कर फैला देती हैं

Wannaashiraati nashraa

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

4فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًۭا

Translations

फिर (उनको) फाड़ कर जुदा कर देती हैं

Falfaariqaati farqaa

And those [angels] who bring criterion

5فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا

Translations

फिर फरिश्तों की क़सम जो वही लाते हैं

Falmulqiyaati zikra

And those [angels] who deliver a message

6عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا

Translations

ताकि हुज्जत तमाम हो और डरा दिया जाए

'Uzran aw nuzraa

As justification or warning,

7إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ

Translations

कि जिस बात का तुमसे वायदा किया जाता है वह ज़रूर होकर रहेगा

Innamaa too'adoona lawaaqi'

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

8فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

Translations

फिर जब तारों की चमक जाती रहेगी

Fa izam nujoomu tumisat

So when the stars are obliterated

9وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ

Translations

और जब आसमान फट जाएगा

Wa izas samaaa'u furijat

And when the heaven is opened

10وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ

Translations

और जब पहाड़ (रूई की तरह) उड़े उड़े फिरेंगे

Wa izal jibaalu nusifat

And when the mountains are blown away

11وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ

Translations

और जब पैग़म्बर लोग एक मुअय्यन वक्त पर जमा किए जाएँगे

Wa izar Rusulu uqqitat

And when the messengers' time has come...

12لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ

Translations

(फिर) भला इन (बातों) में किस दिन के लिए ताख़ीर की गयी है

Li ayyi yawmin ujjilat

For what Day was it postponed?

13لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ

Translations

फ़ैसले के दिन के लिए

Li yawmil Fasl

For the Day of Judgement.

14وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ

Translations

और तुमको क्या मालूम की फ़ैसले का दिन क्या है

Wa maaa adraaka maa yawmul fasl

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

15وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की मिट्टी ख़राब है

Wailuny yawma 'izillilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

16أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Translations

क्या हमने अगलों को हलाक नहीं किया

Alam nuhlikil awwaleen

Did We not destroy the former peoples?

17ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

Translations

फिर उनके पीछे पीछे पिछलों को भी चलता करेंगे

Summa nutbi'uhumul aakhireen

Then We will follow them with the later ones.

18كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Translations

हम गुनेहगारों के साथ ऐसा ही किया करते हैं

Kazzlika naf'alu bilmujrimeen

Thus do We deal with the criminals.

19وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की मिट्टी ख़राब है

Wailunw yawma 'izil lil mukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

20أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ

Translations

क्या हमने तुमको ज़लील पानी (मनी) से पैदा नहीं किया

Alam nakhlukkum mimmaaa'im maheen

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

21فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ

Translations

फिर हमने उसको एक मुअय्यन वक्त तक

Faja'alnaahu fee qaraarim makeen

And We placed it in a firm lodging

22إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ

Translations

एक महफूज़ मक़ाम (रहम) में रखा

Illaa qadrim ma'loom

For a known extent.

23فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ

Translations

फिर (उसका) एक अन्दाज़ा मुक़र्रर किया तो हम कैसा अच्छा अन्दाज़ा मुक़र्रर करने वाले हैं

Faqadarnaa fani'mal qaadiroon

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

24وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उन दिन झुठलाने वालों की ख़राबी है

Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

25أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا

Translations

क्या हमने ज़मीन को ज़िन्दों और मुर्दों को समेटने वाली नहीं बनाया

Alam naj'alil arda kifaataa

Have We not made the earth a container

26أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا

Translations

और उसमें ऊँचे ऊँचे अटल पहाड़ रख दिए

Ahyaaa'anw wa amwaataa

Of the living and the dead?

27وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا

Translations

और तुम लोगों को मीठा पानी पिलाया

Wa ja'alnaa feehaa rawaasiya shaamikhaatinw wa asqainaakum maaa'an furaataa

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

28وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की ख़राबी है

Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

29ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Translations

जिस चीज़ को तुम झुठलाया करते थे अब उसकी तरफ़ चलो

Intaliqooo ilaa maa kuntum bihee tukazziboon

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

30ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ

Translations

(धुएँ के) साये की तरफ़ चलो जिसके तीन हिस्से हैं

Intaliqooo ilaa zillin zee salaasi shu'ab

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

31لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

Translations

जिसमें न ठन्डक है और न जहन्नुम की लपक से बचाएगा

Laa zaleelinw wa laa yughnee minal lahab

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

32إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ

Translations

उससे इतने बड़े बड़े अंगारे बरसते होंगे जैसे महल

Innahaa tarmee bishararin kalqasr

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

33كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ

Translations

गोया ज़र्द रंग के ऊँट हैं

Ka annahoo jimaalatun sufr

As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

34وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की ख़राबी है

Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmukazibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

35هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

Translations

ये वह दिन होगा कि लोग लब तक न हिला सकेंगे

Haazaa yawmu laa uantiqoon

This is a Day they will not speak,

36وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ

Translations

और उनको इजाज़त दी जाएगी कि कुछ उज्र माअज़ेरत कर सकें

Wa laa yu'zanu lahum fa ya'taziroon

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

37وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की तबाही है

Wailunw yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

38هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Translations

यही फैसले का दिन है (जिस में) हमने तुमको और अगलों को इकट्ठा किया है

Haaza yawmul fasli jama 'naakum wal awwaleen

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

39فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ

Translations

तो अगर तुम्हें कोई दाँव करना हो तो आओ चल चुको

Fa in kaana lakum kaidun fakeedoon

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

40وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की ख़राबी है

Wailuny yawma'izil lilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

41إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ

Translations

बेशक परहेज़गार लोग (दरख्तों की) घनी छाँव में होंगे

Innal muttaqeena fee zilaalinw wa 'uyoon

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

42وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ

Translations

और चश्मों और आदमियों में जो उन्हें मरग़ूब हो

Wa fawaakiha mimmaa yastahoon

And fruits from whatever they desire,

43كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

Translations

(दुनिया में) जो अमल करते थे उसके बदले में मज़े से खाओ पियो

Kuloo washraboo haneee 'am bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

44إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

Translations

मुबारक हम नेकोकारों को ऐसा ही बदला दिया करते हैं

Innaa kazaalika najzil muhsineen

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

45وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की ख़राबी है

Wailuny yawma 'izil lilmuzkazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

46كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ

Translations

(झुठलाने वालों) चन्द दिन चैन से खा पी लो तुम बेशक गुनेहगार हो

Kuloo wa tamatta'oo qaleelan innakum mujrimoon

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

47وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की मिट्टी ख़राब है

Wailunny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

48وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ

Translations

और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि रूकूउ करों तो रूकूउ नहीं करते

Wa izaa qeela lahumur ka'oo aa yarka'oon

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

49وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

Translations

उस दिन झुठलाने वालों की ख़राबी है

Wailunny yawma 'izil lilmukazzibeen

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

50فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Translations

अब इसके बाद ये किस बात पर ईमान लाएँगे

Fabi ayyi hadeesim ba'dahoo yu'minoon

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?

Surah Al-Mursalaat (77/114)
