Surah Saad (38/114)

سُورَةُ صٓ

सूरह Saad

1بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ صٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ

Translations

सआद नसीहत करने वाले कुरान की क़सम (तुम बरहक़ नबी हो)

Saaad; wal-Qur-aani ziz zikr

Sad. By the Qur'an containing reminder...

2بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍۢ وَشِقَاقٍۢ

Translations

मगर ये कुफ्फ़ार (ख्वाहमख्वाह) तकब्बुर और अदावत में (पड़े अंधे हो रहें हैं)

Balil lazeena kafaroo fee 'izzatilnw wa shiqaaq

But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension.

3كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍۢ

Translations

हमने उन से पहले कितने गिरोह हलाक कर डाले तो (अज़ाब के वक्त) ये लोग चीख़ उठे मगर छुटकारे का वक्त ही न रहा था

Kam ahlaknaa min qablihim min qarnin fanaadaw wa laata heena manaas

How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.

4وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٌۭ كَذَّابٌ

Translations

और उन लोगों ने इस बात से ताज्जुब किया कि उन्हीं में का (अज़ाबे खुदा से) एक डरानेवाला (पैग़म्बर) उनके पास आया और काफिर लोग कहने लगे कि ये तो बड़ा (खिलाड़ी) जादूगर और पक्का झूठा है

Wa 'ajibooo an jaaa'a hum munzirum minhum wa qaalal kaafiroona haazaa saahirun kazzaab

And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar.

5أَجَعَلَ ٱلْءَالِهَةَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌۭ

Translations

भला (देखो तो) उसने तमाम माबूदों को (मटियामेट करके बस) एक ही माबूद क़ायम रखा ये तो यक़ीनी बड़ी ताज्जुब खेज़ बात है

Aja'alal aalihata Ilaahanw Waahidan inna haazaa lashai'un 'ujaab

Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing."

6وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌۭ يُرَادُ

Translations

और उनमें से चन्द रवादार लोग (मजलिस व अज़ा से) ये (कह कर) चल खड़े हुए कि (यहाँ से) चल दो और अपने माबूदों की इबादत पर जमे रहो यक़ीनन इसमें (उसकी) कुछ ज़ाती ग़रज़ है

Wantalaqal mala-u minhum anim shoo wasbiroo 'alaaa aalihatikum innna haazaa lashai 'uny yuraad

And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended.

7مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَٰقٌ

Translations

हम लोगों ने तो ये बात पिछले दीन में कभी सुनी भी नहीं हो न हो ये उसकी मन गढ़ंत है

Maa sami'naa bihaazaa fil millatil aakhirati in haazaaa illakh tilaaq

We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication.

8أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّن ذِكْرِى ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِ

Translations

क्या हम सब लोगों में बस (मोहम्मद ही क़ाबिल था कि) उस पर कुरान नाज़िल हुआ, नहीं बात ये है कि इनके (सिरे से) मेरे कलाम ही में शक है कि मेरा है या नहीं बल्कि असल ये है कि इन लोगों ने अभी तक अज़ाब के मज़े नहीं चखे

'A-unzila 'alaihiz zikru mim baininaa; bal hum fee shakkim min Zikree bal lammaa yazooqoo 'azaab

Has the message been revealed to him out of [all of] us?" Rather, they are in doubt about My message. Rather, they have not yet tasted My punishment.

9أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ

Translations

(इस वजह से ये शरारत है) (ऐ रसूल) तुम्हारे ज़बरदस्त फ़य्याज़ परवरदिगार के रहमत के ख़ज़ाने इनके पास हैं

Am'indahum khazaaa 'inu rahmati Rabbikal 'Azeezil Wahhab

Or do they have the depositories of the mercy of your Lord, the Exalted in Might, the Bestower?

10أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ

Translations

या सारे आसमान व ज़मीन और उन दोनों के दरमियान की सलतनत इन्हीं की ख़ास है तब इनको चाहिए कि रास्ते या सीढियाँ लगाकर (आसमान पर) चढ़ जाएँ और इन्तेज़ाम करें

Am lahum mulkus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa falyartaqoo fil asbaab

Or is theirs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access.

11جُندٌۭ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल उन पैग़म्बरों के साथ झगड़ने वाले) गिरोहों में से यहाँ तुम्हारे मुक़ाबले में भी एक लशकर है जो शिकस्त खाएगा

Jundum maa hunaalika mahzoomum minal Ahzaab

[They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers].

12كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٌۭ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلْأَوْتَادِ

Translations

उनसे पहले नूह की क़ौम और आद और फिरऔन मेंख़ों वाला

Kazzabat qablahum qawmu Lootinw-wa 'Aadunw wa Fir'awnu zul awtaad

The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes,

13وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍۢ وَأَصْحَٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ

Translations

और समूद और लूत की क़ौम और जंगल के रहने वाले (क़ौम शुऐब ये सब पैग़म्बरों को) झुठला चुकी हैं यही वह गिरोह है

Wa Samoodu wa qawmu Lootinw wa Ashaabul 'Aykah; ulaaa'ikal Ahzaab

And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.

14إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ

Translations

(जो शिकस्त खा चुके) सब ही ने तो पैग़म्बरों को झुठलाया तो हमारा अज़ाब ठीक आ नाज़िल हुआ

In kullun illaa kazzabar Rusula fahaqqa 'iqaab

Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.

15وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍۢ

Translations

और ये (काफिर) लोग बस एक चिंघाड़ (सूर के मुन्तज़िर हैं जो फिर उन्हें) चश्में ज़दन की मोहलत न देगी

Wa maa yanzuru haaa ulaaa'i illaa saihatanw waahidatam maa lahaa min fawaaq

And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay.

16وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ

Translations

और ये लोग (मज़ाक से) कहते हैं कि परवरदिगार हिसाब के दिन (क़यामत के) क़ब्ल ही (जो) हमारी क़िस्मत को लिखा (हो) हमें जल्दी दे दे

Wa qaaloo Rabbanaa 'ajjil lanaa qittanaa qabla Yawmil Hisaab

And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account"

17ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) जैसी जैसी बातें ये लोग करते हैं उन पर सब्र करो और हमारे बन्दे दाऊद को याद करो जो बड़े कूवत वाले थे

Isbir 'alaa maa yaqooloona wazkur 'abdanaa Daawooda zal aidi aidi innahooo awwaab

Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah].

18إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا ٱلْجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ

Translations

बेशक वह हमारी बारगाह में बड़े रूजू करने वाले थे हमने पहाड़ों को भी ताबेदार बना दिया था कि उनके साथ सुबह और शाम (खुदा की) तस्बीह करते थे

Innaa sakhkharnal jibaala ma'ahoo yusabbihna bil'ashaiyi wal ishraaq

Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allah] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.

19وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةًۭ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ

Translations

और परिन्दे भी (यादे खुदा के वक्त सिमट) आते और उनके फरमाबरदार थे

Wattayra mahshoorah; kullul lahooo awwaab

And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].

20وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ ٱلْخِطَابِ

Translations

और हमने उनकी सल्तनत को मज़बूत कर दिया और हमने उनको हिकमत और बहस के फैसले की कूवत अता फरमायी थी

Wa shadadnaa mulkahoo wa aatainaahul Hikmata wa faslal khitaab

And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech.

21۞ وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا۟ ٱلْمِحْرَابَ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) क्या तुम तक उन दावेदारों की भी ख़बर पहुँची है कि जब वह हुजरे (इबादत) की दीवार फाँद पडे

Wa hal ataaka naba'ul khasm; iz tasawwarul mihraab

And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber -

22إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَٱهْدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ

Translations

(और) जब दाऊद के पास आ खड़े हुए तो वह उनसे डर गए उन लोगों ने कहा कि आप डरें नहीं (हम दोनों) एक मुक़द्दमें के फ़रीकैन हैं कि हम में से एक ने दूसरे पर ज्यादती की है तो आप हमारे दरमियान ठीक-ठीक फैसला कर दीजिए और इन्साफ से ने गुज़रिये और हमें सीधी राह दिखा दीजिए

Iz dakhaloo 'alaa Daawooda fafazi'a minhum qaaloo la takhaf khasmaani baghaa ba'dunaa 'alaa ba'din fahkum bainanaaa bilhaqqi wa laa tushtit wahdinaaa ilaa Sawaaa'is Siraat

When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path.

23إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِى لَهُۥ تِسْعٌۭ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةًۭ وَلِىَ نَعْجَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِى فِى ٱلْخِطَابِ

Translations

(मुराद ये हैं कि) ये (शख्स) मेरा भाई है और उसके पास निनान्नवे दुम्बियाँ हैं और मेरे पास सिर्फ एक दुम्बी है उस पर भी ये मुझसे कहता है कि ये दुम्बी भी मुझी को दे दें और बातचीत में मुझ पर सख्ती करता है

Inna haazaaa akhee lahoo tis'unw wa tis'oona na'jatanw wa liya na'jatunw waahidah; faqaala akfilneeha wa 'azzanee filkhitaab

Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech."

24قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦ ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٌۭ مَّا هُمْ ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًۭا وَأَنَابَ ۩

Translations

दाऊद ने (बग़ैर इसके कि मुदा आलैह से कुछ पूछें) कह दिया कि ये जो तेरी दुम्बी माँग कर अपनी दुम्बियों में मिलाना चाहता है तो ये तुझ पर ज़ुल्म करता है और अक्सर शुरका (की) यकीनन (ये हालत है कि) एक दूसरे पर जुल्म किया करते हैं मगर जिन लोगों ने (सच्चे दिल से) ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे (अच्छे) काम किए (वह ऐसा नहीं करते) और ऐसे लोग बहुत ही कम हैं (ये सुनकर दोनों चल दिए) और अब दाऊद ने समझा कि हमने उनका इमितेहान लिया (और वह ना कामयाब रहे) फिर तो अपने परवरदिगार से बख्शिश की दुआ माँगने लगे और सजदे में गिर पड़े और (मेरी) तरफ रूजू की (24) (सजदा)

Qaala laqad zalamaka bisu 'aali na'jatika ilaa ni'aajihee wa inna kaseeram minal khulataaa'i la-yabghee ba'duhum 'alaa ba'din illal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa qaleehum maa hum; wa zanna Daawoodu annamaa fatannaahu fastaghrara Rabbahoo wa kharra raaki'anw wa anaab

[David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah].

25فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ

Translations

तो हमने उनकी वह ग़लती माफ कर दी और इसमें शक नहीं कि हमारी बारगाह में उनका तक़र्रुब और अन्जाम अच्छा हुआ

Faghafarnaa lahoo zaalik; wa inna lahoo 'indanaa lazulfaa wa husna ma aab

So We forgave him that; and indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.

26يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ

Translations

(हमने फरमाया) ऐ दाऊद हमने तुमको ज़मीन में (अपना) नाएब क़रार दिया तो तुम लोगों के दरमियान बिल्कुल ठीक फैसला किया करो और नफ़सियानी ख्वाहिश की पैरवी न करो बसा ये पीरों तुम्हें ख़ुदा की राह से बहका देगी इसमें शक नहीं कि जो लोग खुदा की राह में भटकते हैं उनकी बड़ी सख्त सज़ा होगी क्योंकि उन लोगों ने हिसाब के दिन (क़यामत) को भुला दिया

Yaa Daawoodu innaa ja'alnaaka khaleefatan fil ardi fahkum bainan naasi bilhaqqi wa laa tattabi'il hawaa fayudillaka 'an sabeelil laah; innal lazeena yadilloona 'an sabeelil laah; lahum 'azaabun shadeedum bimaa nasoo Yawmal Hisaab

[We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.

27وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَٰطِلًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

Translations

और हमने आसमान और ज़मीन और जो चीज़ें उन दोनों के दरमियान हैं बेकार नहीं पैदा किया ये उन लोगों का ख्याल है जो काफ़िर हो बैठे तो जो लोग दोज़ख़ के मुनकिर हैं उन पर अफ़सोस है

Wa ma khalaqnas samaaa'a wal arda wa maa bainahumaa baatilaa; zaalika zannul lazeena kafaroo; fawi lul lillazeena kafaroo minan Naar

And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.

28أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ

Translations

क्या जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे-अच्छे काम किए उनको हम (उन लोगों के बराबर) कर दें जो रूए ज़मीन में फसाद फैलाया करते हैं या हम परहेज़गारों को मिसल बदकारों के बना दें

Am naj'alul lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati kalmufisdeena fil ardi am naj'alul muttaqeena kalfujjaar

Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?

29كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌۭ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) किताब (कुरान) जो हमने तुम्हारे पास नाज़िल की है (बड़ी) बरकत वाली है ताकि लोग इसकी आयतों में ग़ौर करें और ताकि अक्ल वाले नसीहत हासिल करें

Kitaabun anzalnaahu ilaika mubaarakul liyaddabbarooo Aayaatihee wa liyatazakkara ulul albaab

[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.

30وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ

Translations

और हमने दाऊद को सुलेमान (सा बेटा) अता किया (सुलेमान भी) क्या अच्छे बन्दे थे

Wa wahabnaa li Daawooda Sulaimaan; ni'mal 'abd; innahoo awwaab

And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].

31إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ

Translations

बेशक वह हमारी तरफ रूजू करने वाले थे इत्तोफाक़न एक दफ़ा तीसरे पहर को ख़ासे के असील घोड़े उनके सामने पेश किए गए

Iz 'urida 'alaihi bil'ashiy yis saafinaatul jiyaad

[Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.

32فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ

Translations

तो देखने में उलझे के नवाफिल में देर हो गयी जब याद आया तो बोले कि मैंने अपने परवरदिगार की याद पर माल की उलफ़त को तरजीह दी यहाँ तक कि आफ़ताब (मग़रिब के) पर्दे में छुप गया

Faqaala inneee ahbabtu hubbal khairi 'an zikri Rabbee hattaa tawaarat bilhijaab

And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."

33رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ

Translations

(तो बोले अच्छा) इन घोड़ों को मेरे पास वापस लाओ (जब आए) तो (देर के कफ्फ़ारा में) घोड़ों की टाँगों और गर्दनों पर हाथ फेर (काट) ने लगे

Ruddoohaa 'alaiya fatafiqa masham bissooqi wal a'naaq

[He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks.

34وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًۭا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ

Translations

और हमने सुलेमान का इम्तेहान लिया और उनके तख्त पर एक बेजान धड़ लाकर गिरा दिया

Wa laqad fatannaa Sulaimaana wa alqainaa 'alaa kursiyyihee jasadan summa anaab

And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned.

35قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ

Translations

फिर (सुलेमान ने मेरी तरफ) रूजू की (और) कहा परवरदिगार मुझे बख्श दे और मुझे वह मुल्क अता फरमा जो मेरे बाद किसी के वास्ते शायाँह न हो इसमें तो शक नहीं कि तू बड़ा बख्शने वाला है

Qaala Rabbigh fir lee wa hab lee mulkal laa yambaghee li ahadim mim ba'de inaka Antal Wahhab

He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."

36فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ

Translations

तो हमने हवा को उनका ताबेए कर दिया कि जहाँ वह पहुँचना चाहते थे उनके हुक्म के मुताबिक़ धीमी चाल चलती थी

Fasakhkharnaa lahur reeha tajree bi amrihee rukhaaa'an haisu asaab

So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,

37وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍۢ وَغَوَّاصٍۢ

Translations

और (इसी तरह) जितने शयातीन (देव) इमारत बनाने वाले और ग़ोता लगाने वाले थे

Wash Shayaateena kulla bannaaa'inw wa ghawwaas

And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver

38وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ

Translations

सबको (ताबेए कर दिया और इसके अलावा) दूसरे देवों को भी जो ज़ंज़ीरों में जकड़े हुए थे

Wa aakhareena muqarraneena fil asfaad

And others bound together in shackles.

39هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ

Translations

ऐ सुलेमान ये हमारी बेहिसाब अता है पस (उसे लोगों को देकर) एहसान करो या (सब) अपने ही पास रखो

Haazaa 'ataaa'unaa famnun aw amsik bighairi hisaab

[We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."

40وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ

Translations

और इसमें शक नहीं कि सुलेमान की हमारी बारगाह में कुर्ब व मज़ेलत और उमदा जगह है

Wa inna lahoo 'indanaa lazulfaa wa husna ma-aab

And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.

41وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بِنُصْبٍۢ وَعَذَابٍ

Translations

और (ऐ रसूल) हमारे (ख़ास) बन्दे अय्यूब को याद करो जब उन्होंने अपने परवरगिार से फरियाद की कि मुझको शैतान ने बहुत अज़ीयत और तकलीफ पहुँचा रखी है

Wazkur 'abdanaaa Ayyoob; iz naada Rabbahooo annee massaniyash Shaitaanu binus binw wa 'azaab

And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment."

42ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌۭ وَشَرَابٌۭ

Translations

तो हमने कहा कि अपने पाँव से (ज़मीन को) ठुकरा दो और चश्मा निकाला तो हमने कहा (ऐ अय्यूब) तुम्हारे नहाने और पीने के वास्ते ये ठन्डा पानी (हाज़िर) है

Urkud birijlika haaza mughtasalum baaridunw wa sharaab

[So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink."

43وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ

Translations

और हमने उनको और उनके लड़के वाले और उनके साथ उतने ही और अपनी ख़ास मेहरबानी से अता किए

Wa wahabnaa lahoo ahlahoo wa mislahum ma'ahum rahmatam minna wa zikraa li ulil albaab

And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding.

44وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًۭا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًۭا ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ

Translations

और अक्लमंदों के लिए इबरत व नसीहत (क़रार दी) और हमने कहा ऐ अय्यूब तुम अपने हाथ से सींको का मट्ठा लो (और उससे अपनी बीवी को) मारो अपनी क़सम में झूठे न बनो हमने कहा अय्यूब को यक़ीनन साबिर पाया वह क्या अच्छे बन्दे थे

Wa khuz biyadika dighsan fadrib bihee wa laa tahnas, innaa wajadnaahu saabiraa; ni'mal 'abd; innahooo awwaab

[We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].

45وَٱذْكُرْ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَيْدِى وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ

Translations

बेशक वह हमारी बारगाह में बड़े झुकने वाले थे और (ऐ रसूल) हमारे बन्दों में इब्राहीम और इसहाक़ और बेशक वह (हमारी बारगाह में) बड़े झुकने वाले थे और (ऐ रसूल) हमारे बन्दों में इबराहीम और इसहाक़ और याकूब को याद करो जो कुवत और बसीरत वाले थे

Wazkur 'ibaadanaaa Ibraaheema wa Is-haaqa wa Ya'qooba ulil-aydee walabsaar

And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision.

46إِنَّآ أَخْلَصْنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٍۢ ذِكْرَى ٱلدَّارِ

Translations

हमने उन लोगों को एक ख़ास सिफत आख़ेरत की याद से मुमताज़ किया था

Innaaa akhlasnaahum bi khaalisatin zikrad daar

Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter].

47وَإِنَّهُمْ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ

Translations

और इसमें शक नहीं कि ये लोग हमारी बारगाह में बरगुज़ीदा और नेक लोगों में हैं

Wa innahum 'indanaa laminal mustafainal akhyaar

And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding.

48وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ

Translations

और (ऐ रसूल) इस्माईल और अलयसा और जुलकिफ़ल को (भी) याद करो और (ये) सब नेक बन्दों में हैं

Wazkur Ismaa'eela wal Yasa'a wa Zal-Kifli wa kullum minal akhyaar

And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding.

49هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ

Translations

ये एक नसीहत है और इसमें शक नहीं कि परहेज़गारों के लिए (आख़ेरत में) यक़ीनी अच्छी आरामगाह है

Haazaa zikr; wa inna lilmuttaqeena lahusna ma aab

This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return

50جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍۢ مُّفَتَّحَةًۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبُ

Translations

(यानि) हमेशा रहने के (बेहिश्त के) सदाबहार बाग़ात जिनके दरवाज़े उनके लिए (बराबर) खुले होगें

Jannaati 'adnim mufat tahatal lahumul abwaab

Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them.

51مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٍۢ كَثِيرَةٍۢ وَشَرَابٍۢ

Translations

और ये लोग वहाँ तकिये लगाए हुए (चैन से बैठे) होगें वहाँ (खुद्दामे बेहिश्त से) कसरत से मेवे और शराब मँगवाएँगे

Muttaki'eena feehaa yad'oona feehaa bifaakihatin kaseeratinw wa sharaab

Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink.

52۞ وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ

Translations

और उनके पहलू में नीची नज़रों वाली (शरमीली) कमसिन बीवियाँ होगी

Wa 'indahum qaasiraatut tarfi atraab

And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age.

53هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ

Translations

(मोमिनों) ये वह चीज़ हैं जिनका हिसाब के दिन (क़यामत) के लिए तुमसे वायदा किया जाता है

Haaza maa too'odoona li Yawmil Hisaab

This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account.

54إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ

Translations

बेशक ये हमारी (दी हुई) रोज़ी है जो कभी तमाम न होगी

Inna haazaa larizqunaa maa lahoo min nafaad

Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion.

55هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٍۢ

Translations

ये परहेज़गारों का (अन्जाम) है और सरकशों का तो यक़ीनी बुरा ठिकाना है

Haazaa; wa inna littaagheena lasharra ma-aab

This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return -

56جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ

Translations

जहन्नुम जिसमें उनको जाना पड़ेगा तो वह क्या बुरा ठिकाना है

Jahannama yaslawnahaa fai'sal mihaad

Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place.

57هَٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌۭ وَغَسَّاقٌۭ

Translations

ये खौलता हुआ पानी और पीप और इस तरह अनवा अक़साम की दूसरी चीज़े हैं

Haazaa falyazooqoohu hameemunw wa ghassaaq

This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence.

58وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجٌ

Translations

तो ये लोग उन्हीं पड़े चखा करें (कुछ लोगों के बारे में) बड़ों से कहा जाएगा

Wa aakharu min shak liheee azwaaj

And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds.

59هَٰذَا فَوْجٌۭ مُّقْتَحِمٌۭ مَّعَكُمْ ۖ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا۟ ٱلنَّارِ

Translations

ये (तुम्हारी चेलों की) फौज भी तुम्हारे साथ ही ढूँसी जाएगी उनका भला न हो ये सब भी दोज़ख़ को जाने वाले हैं

Haazaa fawjum muqtahimum ma'akum laa marhabam bihim; innahum saalun Naar

[Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire."

60قَالُوا۟ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِكُمْ ۖ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ

Translations

तो चेले कहेंगें (हम क्यों) बल्कि तुम (जहन्नुमी हो) तुम्हारा ही भला न हो तो तुम ही लोगों ने तो इस (बला) से हमारा सामना करा दिया तो जहन्नुम भी क्या बुरी जगह है

Qaaloo bal antum laa marhabam bikum; antum qaddamtumoohu lanaa fabi'sal qaraar

They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement."

61قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًۭا ضِعْفًۭا فِى ٱلنَّارِ

Translations

(फिर वह) अर्ज़ करेगें परवरदिगार जिस शख्स ने हमारा इस (बला) से सामना करा दिया तो तू उस पर हमसे बढ़कर जहन्नुम में दो गुना अज़ाब कर

Qaaloo Rabbanaa man qaddama lanaa haaza fazidhu 'azaaban di'fan fin Naar

They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire."

62وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًۭا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ

Translations

और (फिर) खुद भी कहेगें हमें क्या हो गया है कि हम जिन लोगों को (दुनिया में) शरीर शुमार करते थे हम उनको यहाँ (दोज़ख़) में नहीं देखते

Wa qaaloo ma lanaa laa naraa rijaalan kunnaa na'udduhum minal ashraar

And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?

63أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ

Translations

क्या हम उनसे (नाहक़) मसखरापन करते थे या उनकी तरफ से (हमारी) ऑंखे पलट गयी हैं

Attakhaznaahum sikh riyyan am zaaghat 'anhumul absaar

Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?"

64إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّۭ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ

Translations

इसमें शक नहीं कि जहन्नुमियों का बाहम झगड़ना ये बिल्कुल यक़ीनी ठीक है

Inna zaalika lahaqqun takhaasumu Ahlin Naar

Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire.

65قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٌۭ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि मैं तो बस (अज़ाबे खुदा से) डराने वाला हूँ और यकता क़हार खुदा के सिवा कोई माबूद क़ाबिले परसतिश नहीं

Qul innamaaa ana munzirunw wa maa min ilaahim illal laahul Waahidul Qahhaar

Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

66رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ

Translations

सारे आसमान और ज़मीन का और जो चीज़े उन दोनों के दरमियान हैं (सबका) परवरदिगार ग़ालिब बड़ा बख्शने वाला है

Rabbus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumal 'Azeezul Ghaffaar

Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver."

67قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا۟ عَظِيمٌ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि ये (क़यामत) एक बहुत बड़ा वाक़िया है

Qul huwa naba'un 'azeem

Say, "It is great news

68أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ

Translations

जिससे तुम लोग (ख्वाहमाख्वाह) मुँह फेरते हो

Antum 'anhu mu'ridoon

From which you turn away.

69مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

Translations

आलम बाला के रहने वाले (फरिश्ते) जब वाहम बहस करते थे उसकी मुझे भी ख़बर न थी

Maa kaana liya min 'ilmim bilmala il a'laaa iz yakhtasimoon

I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam].

70إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ

Translations

मेरे पास तो बस वही की गयी है कि मैं (खुदा के अज़ाब से) साफ-साफ डराने वाला हूँ

Iny-yoohaaa ilaiya illaaa annnamaaa ana nazeerum mubeen

It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner."

71إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًۭا مِّن طِينٍۢ

Translations

(वह बहस ये थी कि) जब तुम्हारे परवरदिगार ने फरिश्तों से कहा कि मैं गीली मिट्टी से एक आदमी बनाने वाला हूँ

Iz qaala Rabbuka lilmalaaa'ikati innee khaaliqum basharam min teen

[So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay.

72فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

Translations

तो जब मैं उसको दुरूस्त कर लूँ और इसमें अपनी (पैदा) की हुई रूह फूँक दो तो तुम सब के सब उसके सामने सजदे में गिर पड़ना

Fa-iza sawwaituhoo wa nafakhtu feehi mir roohee faqa'oo lahoo saajideen

So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."

73فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

Translations

तो सब के सब कुल फरिश्तों ने सजदा किया

Fasajadal malaaa'ikatu kulluhum ajma'oon

So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely.

74إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ ٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

Translations

मगर (एक) इबलीस ने कि वह शेख़ी में आ गया और काफिरों में हो गया

Illaaa Iblees; istakbara wa kaana minal kaafireen

Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.

75قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْعَالِينَ

Translations

ख़ुदा ने (इबलीस से) फरमाया कि ऐ इबलीस जिस चीज़ को मैंने अपनी ख़ास कुदरत से पैदा किया (भला) उसको सजदा करने से तुझे किसी ने रोका क्या तूने तक़ब्बुर किया या वाकई तू बड़े दरजे वालें में है

Qaala yaaa Ibleesu maa man'aka an tasjuda limaa khalaqtu biyadai; astakbarta am kunta min 'aaleen

[Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?"

76قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍۢ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍۢ

Translations

इबलीस बोल उठा कि मैं उससे बेहतर हूँ तूने मुझे आग से पैदा किया और इसको तूने गीली मिट्टी से पैदा किया

Qaala ana khairum minah; khalaqtanee min naarinw wa khalaqtahoo min teen

He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."

77قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌۭ

Translations

(कहाँ आग कहाँ मिट्टी) खुदा ने फरमाया कि तू यहाँ से निकल (दूर हो) तू यक़ीनी मरदूद है

Qaala fakhruj minhaa fainnaka rajeem

[Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled.

78وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

Translations

और तुझ पर रोज़ जज़ा (क़यामत) तक मेरी फिटकार पड़ा करेगी

Wa inna 'alaika la'nateee ilaa Yawmid Deen

And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense."

79قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

Translations

शैतान ने अर्ज़ की परवरदिगार तू मुझे उस दिन तक की मोहलत अता कर जिसमें सब लोग (दोबारा) उठा खड़े किए जायेंगे

Qaala Rabbi fa anzirneee ilaa Yawmi yub'asoon

He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."

80قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ

Translations

फरमाया तुझे एक वक्त मुअय्यन के दिन तक की मोहलत दी गयी

Qaala fa innaka minal munzareen

[Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved

81إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ

Translations

वह बोला तेरी ही इज्ज़त व जलाल की क़सम

Ilaa Yawmil waqtil ma'loom

Until the Day of the time well-known."

82قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Translations

उनमें से तेरे ख़ालिस बन्दों के सिवा सब के सब को ज़रूर गुमराह करूँगा

Qaala fabi'izzatika la ughwiyannahum ajma'een

[Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all

83إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ

Translations

खुदा ने फरमाया तो (हम भी) हक़ बात (कहे देते हैं)

Illaa 'ibaadaka minhumul mukhlaseen

Except, among them, Your chosen servants."

84قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ

Translations

और मैं तो हक़ ही कहा करता हूँ

Qaala falhaqq, walhaqqa aqool

[Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say -

85لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

Translations

कि मैं तुझसे और जो लोग तेरी ताबेदारी करेंगे उन सब से जहन्नुम को ज़रूर भरूँगा

La amla'annna Jahannama minka wa mimman tabi'aka minhum ajma'een

[That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together."

86قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍۢ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ

Translations

(ऐ रसूल) तुम कह दो कि मैं तो तुमसे न इस (तबलीग़े रिसालत) की मज़दूरी माँगता हूँ और न मैं (झूठ मूठ) बनावट करने वाला हूँ

Qul maaa as'alukum 'alaihi min ajrinw wa maaa ana minal mutakallifeen

Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious

87إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Translations

ये (क़ुरान) तो बस सारे जहाँन के लिए नसीहत है

In huwa illaa zikrul lil'aalameen

It is but a reminder to the worlds.

88وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعْدَ حِينٍۭ

Translations

और कुछ दिनों बाद तुमको इसकी हक़ीकत मालूम हो जाएगी

Wa lata'lamunna naba ahoo ba'da heen

And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time."
